What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I love that Menefee Dogleg Kris. I hope your daughter is feeling better or at least feeling some relief today.

Thanks Bob, she had two antibiotic injections on Thursday and Friday. She is feeling better, tubes on Friday.

Lazy Sunday today, this Tony Bose Texas jack is with me

Very nice knives everyone!

Terrific knives Jack and pmew.

I picked up this Weidmannsheil at an antique store yesterday so I thought I'd give it a carry today.

Thanks a lot Ken, great find, that's a very interesting knife

With us today .

That's some choice stag Harry

My newest addition - #618. Apologies for flooding the different forum threads with pics, but I got this weekend and am stoked!

Congratulations :)

It's been a looooong weekend, so I've had to breeze through the past few pages.

This one has been in my pocket since Friday night.

A beauty of a knife, looks very warm and satisfying to hold in hand. Is this the Texas Jack?

Connor

Much appreciated Connor.
It's a Swell End Jack pattern 31SAB and it's a great comfy size. A serious nail breaker though with that bear of a back spring!

In anticipation of a couple of cold beers once I get home from work:D

Thanks Paul.
Those sawcut covers on the Beer Scout just looks oh so good. Really need to dig one up for myself with summer beverages around the corner. :D

This one's a little bigger than I normally carry, but still serves well.

Just finished my (far from perfect) first modding job on my gardening (and dirty tasks) knife, and still have it in my pocket:

Looks very nice Fausto! What all did you do to it?

If it's the jigging on the scales...well done Fausto!

No, not really
I posted more info in the modified traditionals thread. Basically, I removed the combo tool, the marlin spike, reprofiled a bit the end of the handle, and tried to correct a few mistakes I had made in the process :D
My first modding job turned out to be an interesting experience and even though this knife is not pretty (it never was), it might become a little more mine from now on.
Maybe (when I find out where to get properly sized pins, instead of having to recycle the old ones again - doing it once was enough :o ) I might even change the scales and put some wood on it :)

New to me yesterday. HJ6 Teamsters Jack.

Bob - That is some gorgeous Ebony on that HJ my friend.

Gev - That is some beautiful bone on that Jack. Who is the maker on this one?

It's been a looooong weekend, so I've had to breeze through the past few pages.

This one has been in my pocket since Friday night.

Erik - Love the Eureka, beautiful bone for sure!

I decided to carry Number 10 today.

Dean - Number 10 is loaded with character my friend.

I just love an old well worn and well loved sawcut bone Barlow!:D

Thanks, Gev and Ron! I always like seeing that Camillus, Ron; one of the most beautiful ever IMO.

Sunday today, this Tony Bose Texas jack is with me

Carrying this Case CV 1-Dot (1979 manufacture) 4" 6292 Texas Jack today.

Case Texas Jack, Black small SAK, Imperial Ranger Stockman and a Kershaw Speed safe folder.

Beautiful knives as usual, folks. Lots of sweet Texas Jacks today, I considered swapping out one of today's carries for a TJ but that wouldn't have worked with the theme of the day.

Scored this yesterday at a Rib Burnoff. I think I"ll be carrying it for awhile.

That's only the third Cornwall I've seen, and it's every bit as nice as one of the "parent marque" Camillus jacks of the period. Great find, I don't blame you for letting it monopolize your pocket for a while.

Taking supper at the park, trying to enjoy the sub-50% humidity of pre-summer, with today's carries for Single-Blade Sunday:

The #69 in D2 is on its maiden voyage -- I think its life as a box queen (SWIDT?) is done. What's one more Barlow added to the rotation? ;)
