Thanks for the back story, Erik....
GT, regarding the higo, when I grabbed it that morning I noticed a little rust, so I decided to sand it off. Well, I got a little carried away and decided to go for a mirror polished main bevel. Then I proceeded to botch it all up when I took it to the stones to put the edge back on.
But, it's all covered in a patina from the Memorial Day feast now.
Still a great trio, TB
Thanks for the comments, Jack; someday I'd like to find another vintage Barlow to keep that one company. Your use of "eclectic" indicates that I succeeded in posting a set of knives totally lacking a unifying theme!
Thanks, Shawn.Love that Blue Grass bolster stamp, GT!
I'm pulling another night shift with the old standbys: The Buck 55 and SAK Executive.

Good looking tortoise and boot lace lanyard on that Bull Nose, Steve!
Your lunch looks delicious, bozack, but is that a Canal Street Cannitler I see there? Now that is REALLY tasty!!:thumbup:
Thanks for the Barlow compliment, Dean.
Pretty as a picture!!
Another great pair, Ken; always fantastic to see the old cross Electrician!...
I carried a H. Dorwal and a Vic Electrician today.

Congrats on the ravishing 2-bladed sheepsfoot sawcut Charlow, Paul! It's good to hear that your patience paid off; that's a lesson I need to take to heart!...
This has only been here a few days and really like it. I had searched over two years for it, well worth the wait:thumbup:

Thanks for listing some reasons that your Northfield Barlow is getting lots of pocket time recently, and for the Barlow compliment.Gary - Thanks, it is a great knife! It is my favorite size at 3 3/4", it is slim and strongly built. That big clip blade is a wonderful slicer. And besides all that it is not to bad to look at.Love that Belknap!

I had my pockets full of Ebony today!

Call me Goldilocks, but that one in the middle looks just right to me, Tsar!...
Got to carry my sunfish for WW, so that was good. It's funny how little you notice the difference in size between that big 'fish and the little 'yote in the picture. Having them side by side in hand is quite remarkable.
I have a pretty neat theme idea in mind for tomorrow. I just might need to borrow one of GT's belts, for load-bearing purposes...![]()
That's a very handsome knife, John! :thumbup:Ebony PPP conductor for wooden Wednesday.

Classy pair of Lambsfoots (feet?), Jack!
I'm away on the mainland staying with family friends just outside Carlisle for a couple of nights before making our way to Belfast to stay with the inlaws. We'll be there for a week-ish.

I've my number one 25 with me at the minute; 252208 tractor green, this and a Vic pioneer are the only pieces of cutlery I have with me for the trip.
Paul
fantastic walnut TC by the way, Dean.

Plus another couple of dozen knives in my bag

Thanks, Ron. A lambsfoot and a TC - that's a top notch combo!
