What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carried this thrift store Schrade today. I reground the main blade as it was broken.

You gave me inspiration to hit the shop Jerry. Tapered the pin with a barrel disk on my dremel, re-inserted pin, nipped pin, peened, 400 Grit wrapped over the nose of a wooden clothes pin, progressed up to 2000 wet/dry grit with final wet sanding.

I was tempted to attempt at least part of this with mine, but sold it on instead. Yours looks fantastic! Good on you for just making it happen!

Thanks Dadpool, I appreciate the comment. I have Charlie's SFO Navy Knives and didn't want to mess with those. I just never carried them do to the bail so I thought I'd give it a go on this one. I really like the thin carry and the blade doesn't shy from cutting chores.

jerren, Luc, Factor and Mike, thank you guys. Love to tinker with anything and make it more mine:o Luc, thanks brother for the inspiration:thumbup:

now you are MY inspiration.

I just ordered some Brass bar stock so it can match the other pins :)

Carrying this Keen Kutter with my Buffalo Lambsfoot

Almost to pretty to carry....almost
That one is a unique beauty.

I was in a brown camel bone mood a few months ago, but then really fell hard for my Osage Orange coyote. So today I am reconnecting with a previous favorite.

That is the constant struggle. You have to take it week by week... :D

Or day by day. I've got an osage, and a camel bone, one of which is always with me. Today is t-Bone Tuesday. Tomorrow is Wooden Wednesday. The rest of the week, I've got a Daily Dilemma. :D

Wooden Wednesdays become even more complicated when you toss in the OSR Beagle...
