I left home in a bit of a hurry this morning headed for Sheffield. Had this Crown Penknife by Harrison Fisher with me
Game, set, match!!! Jack, that is a champion!
...
Today, garden party with the colleagues....

.needed some beauty to contemplate

Stainless White Owl in Light Tan Bone, one of five I believe.
That IS a beauty, Will!
Don't worry GT. Shore fishing only yesterday. I certainly wouldn't be dangling it over the edge of a boat!
Thanks for giving me one less thing to worry about, Jake!
...
GT - love the Colonial scout
...
For me today, 2 users I really like:
Thanks, Tom. That's an awesome duo you chose!
...
I quite liked seeing your Zorro Barlow, and I had wondered what was going on with the mark side cover. I would never have guessed that it was a game, though! That seems entirely fitting.
...
Thank you, that's kind of you to say! The equal-end version, alongside its other merits, also makes an excellent "spinny thing" (especially on the backsprings, but also on the pile side), and I spend an inordinate amount of time spinning it on my desk.
Glad you like the game on the Zorro Barlow.

I wish you hadn't reminded me of the joy/addiction of knife-spinning on your desk; that's a habit I'd broken, but now I fear I'm going to pick it up again!
Thanks for the additional info on your Zorro Barlow GT, even better!

 And EVEN better!

That's an interesting Irish Imperial, I'm pretty sure I've never seen one before
Thanks, Jack. The Imperial Ireland stockman is a gift from davek14.
...
Today it's a Case and a Northfield.
Have a good one!
Ken K.
Wow, interesting pair, Ken; a real study in contrasts!
...
Thank you, sir! I don't think I could handle having a game on my knife... I have a hard enough time not playing with the darned things constantly as a worry stone... With a game there - forget about it! hehe

...
I think of it as a way to build character.
...
You mean like this?

I love seeing photos of your Forum knife family, Ted!
I haven't ventured into this thread as much as I did. Not sure why I haven't, the photography is fun. Catching up a little. Too many great knives to mention.
...
Carried this one quite a bit, and today. I love the 77. All steel and single bladed runs would be great.
A 2-bladed 77 is a classy, classic pattern; phenomenal knife, BearBug!
You gave me inspiration to hit the shop Jerry. Tapered the pin with a barrel disk on my dremel, re-inserted pin, nipped pin, peened, 400 Grit wrapped over the nose of a wooden clothes pin, progressed up to 2000 wet/dry grit with final wet sanding.
Almost dark here (sun set awhile back) so apologies for pictures. Will take some during daylight tomorrow. End result...I like it much better than the vacant hole:thumbup:
...
I envy (and enjoy) your skills, Paul; superb job on the Navy Knife!
Still carrying this one, day in and day out
it just fits...
Great to see that distinguished Powderhorn again!
Haven't carried a Peanut in a while
Carrying this Keen Kutter with my Buffalo Lambsfoot
Mesmerizing handles on BOTH of your knives, Jack!
Almost to pretty to carry....almost
It certainly is awfully pretty!
Or day by day. I've got an osage, and a camel bone, one of which is always with me. Today is t-Bone Tuesday. Tomorrow is Wooden Wednesday. The rest of the week, I've got a Daily Dilemma.

A dilemma a day keeps the doctor away!

Slipped this one in my pocket this morning.
How do you keep from slipping that one in your pocket EVERY morning???
Came home from a trip away and the garden is a wilderness. I got torn into it today with a little help from my friends;
That knife looks like a fabulous combination of style and substance, beauty and utility!
In addition to Case chestnut bone peanut and sodbuster, jr., this new RR half hawk that came in a generous giveaway:
Congrats, major_works; the Rough Rider half hawk is a whole lot of very satisfying knife!
Grandpa's old Case knife today. I cleaned it as best I could, it's been sitting in a box for at least 20 years as far as I know, and is in dire need of a sharpening and some real TLC.
You are a fortunate grandson, sir; what an outstanding family heirloom!

Whetstone39
It's a movement, a fad; it's trending!

Plus, the CSC forum knife has been in my pocket a lot lately.
It makes the perfect whittler, and I e been thoroughly impressed with how the steel is holding up.
Great shot of the Forum knife in action, Erik!
...
I'm carrying my potential summer carry again today. A GEC 66 Calf Roper Slim. Just right to toss in my shorts.
I admire your dedication to the Calf Roper Slim, Dean!
Finally dedicating some pocket time to this fella...
Good idea, Mike; those EO 85s get me every time! (I have an old buffalo horn version on kitchen duty this week - thanks, Paul!

)
...
Today it's a Case 6208 and a 25 1/2.
Have a great day all!
Ken K.
Looks like a couple of aged, astonishing Case's aces, Ken!
Splendid SBJr, FBC!
More of this week's knives for me:
I didn't consult with flatblackcapo, but I'm totin' TWO sodbuster jrs this week, a chestnut jigged bone Case and a yellow synthetic Taylor Imperial.
I'm also carrying a Portuguese MAM this week that has a hint of sodbuster to it IMHO.
And I have a Remington canoe this week.
