What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Doing the work it was meant for adds to the beauty of that Orchard Gem.

Thanks Dean, nice 66 too ;)

You did a great job on that Paul, I once tried to remove the bail on a #68 and made a right mess!

Great to see that distinguished Powderhorn again!

I second that!

That knife looks like a fabulous combination of style and substance, beauty and utility!- GT

Thanks GT! It's my knife of the year so far :)

I have so many knives I keep meaning to carry, but I am still under the spell of these two :o

I can see why Jack :)

Sports and pocket knives, all you need is to add a cold beer to that picture and it's everything a man could want :)

I got this recent 25 in a trade with a fellow forum member - I had something they really wanted and they had a 25, I'm always game for 25s.

It's nicely done, slightly more soft finished and de-horned than previous runs and nice deep angular jigging that make for that textured finish that I love on jigged bone. It has an odd pull, for a 25, in that it's initial pull is quite standard for the pattern (say about a 6/7) but the half stop to open pull is a mighty 9. I'll do some flushing work on it but there is no grittiness to the pull at all so I don't think it will alter much. very strange. I'm going to carry it and use it a wee bit though because I'm not sold on the eo notch at all and am going to try and overcome my distaste - I'm sure I'm in a minority here as most folks seem to favour them and indeed often mod knives for that purpose  :D

have a good day folks

THREE knives today, and a leatherman. The pockets would be heavier than usual, but when you subtract the money spent on knives, it evens out :D

Just kidding, I bought the Case only.

Opi, Valley Forge, and Case.

Pics in a little bit when i get some lighting. The Valley Forge gets too little of the spotlight.

Might that be a lacrosse team i see?
The American game, and the greatest a man or woman can chance to enjoy.
I played goalie for three years in HS and loved every singke bit about the game.

Oh yeah, aren't knives not allowed at arenas :P?

Today, I'm on the same line as BladeCommander, my 54 Moose.

The variety and quality of this thread never ceases to amaze me, but the last couple of days have been OUTSTANDING. Great posts and photos all! A few that specifically caught my eye:

And I have a Remington canoe this week.

My favorite (so far ;)) of your canoes GT

Looks like it was a sodbuster day for many of us.

Brilliant Wright & Son Jack!

Beautiful!

Gorgeous!

I'm switching things up for wooden Wednesday - Northwoods EDB in cocobolo. I call it the Precious.

Precious indeed!

Zulu from Mr. Bret Dowell in the pocket today.

Absolutely STUNNING!

For me today, carbon fiber and buffalo horn.

Thanks Dean!

The photos of your TC's inspires. ;)

How many do you have? :)

Lovely..... Calf Roper Slim.

Thank you. You really do have a talent for photography, GW. Uhhh, 16 currently. They are getting harder to find out in the wild. As for the Calf Roper Slim, it continues to grow on me.

I have so many knives I keep meaning to carry, but I am still under the spell of these two :o

Justifiably so, Jack. They are both gorgeous in their own way!

Thanks Dean, nice 66 too ;)

Thanks, Paul.

In recognition of Wooden Wednesday, I had my recently acquired Old Barn Chestnut Boy's Knife with me on the hike this morning. Light as a feather in the pocket.

And back to the Calf Roper Slim for the remainder of the day (Cocobolo so it's still in the wood realm).

Outstanding pic of the Imperial !!!:thumbup: Just fantastic!

....It's a movement, a fad; it's trending! :D:thumbup:

LOL, Yes, GT trending for sure! We may need to start a new thread called "What City-Knife/Scout/Multi tool are ya totin today" :D

Tom, sorry I didn't get back with you earlier, my internet connection was down, (modem failure)
but yes the wood on my BRK City knife is desert iron wood, very chatoyant.
