It is a Fight'n Rooster and I just love the old thing. It has a powerful lock out and cuts like a scalpel. Love the length of the blade for food prep. Good to see you, my friend!

The Factor

I see the smile on your face!!! Super fine specimen:thumbup:

Thank you for the comments on the Hampton everyone. It was worth the wait for sure. When I heard the UPS truck rattle to a stop, I kindly greeted the driver at the sidewalk haha. He didn't even have to step out of the truck.

He must have known it was something I was waiting on since he started laughing when he saw me there like a kid excitedly standing in line at an ice cream truck.

Macchina, I meant to say it the other day when you posted a photo of your daughter… congrats! Hope everything is going well!

A pair from Jerry Halfrich, Hidalgo front lock in Mike Norris' "Hornet's Nest" stainless damascus, integral frame; Jack Russell fixed blade in M4 tool steel, hardened by Jerry to 62RC. Both are handled in old growth redwood burl that I supplied Jerry. Paul Long sheath.

Today, I decided to carry three knives (to follow the example of, but not surpass GT, the multi-carry champion).

In recognition of Paul's fantastic new Boker Congress, I'm carrying mine (different handle materials - and older).

And to emulate, but not outdo, Dadpool's pulp novel background, I snapped one of the Boker on a Tom Swift book.

Finally, to honor the contributions of three cities (Sheffield, Solingen and Titusville) to pocket cutlery I have one from each city.

Bob and Kperla, superb knives; the handles on those are gorgeous! It's not often I say "wow" two times in a row. :)

My baby's TC again today. It's her first day at the cabin!

The sincerest form of flattery...nice sentiment!

That is sweet...
