The alarm showed me no mercy at 4:30 this morning. I have had this Montana Workhorse in my pocket today. I love the heft and solid feel this whittler has. And, how about that jigging? :D

Good stuff my friend, we'll have to start a Lambsfoot Brother/Sisterhood! :D (I just looked up the collective noun for a group of shepherds, but it might be better to avoid that one! :D)

I had my Lambsfoot with me on a walk along a section of Huddersfield canal today... And my Appeydale Jack ;)

I'm in! And, er, uh, yes, best to avoid that collective noun. "The Order of the Lambsfoot" perhaps?

And, I'm liking that jack knife, Jack!

Here you go. It's actually a 6347 made in 1985. A fantastic knife!

Fabulous!

I love how this micarta is developing character the more I carry it - please forgive the quick and dirty at-work picture:

Yes, it's aging splendidly! I don't have any knives with micarta handles yet. But, yours makes me want to give natural canvas a try. :)

Ugh, that's early indeed. That's quite a clip blade you're toting today, though. I like it!

Early Father's Day gift , since I work tomorrow! Schrade SC505 SS scrimshaw on delrin, 1988 is what she tells me. I hope no subliminal message with the skunk.

Thanks for the compliment, my friend. Stephen is missed. Interesting points about the well. Thanks for opening my eyes to it.

The MOP on my old carry really is super. Thanks again.

I hope he returns one day :)

Some real beauties today everyone! Had the whittler with me today, great fishing/picnic knife and a great beer :D

Played around with forced patina for the first time today even though I was hesitant.
Pretty happy with the results [emoji1303]
Layed it on throughout the day in different time frames and cleaned it between coatings .

Cool knife Swaybacksteve;

My mom tells a story during some family get togethers about when I was around 3 or 4 and was running through the yard one afternoon yelling to her to come pet the kitties with me....

Well those "kitties" were a mother skunk with about 6 babies. Luckily she caught up and grabbed me in time haha.

I love the way that denim micarta wears, it's a great looking knife!

I've got the ever present 22 with me and a new grand portage to try out.
