What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Haven't been posting much past few months. Selling a house, moving, finding new house, moving again... whew. But I have enjoyed seeing all of your sweet knives wherever I could log in, truly amazing collections and EDCs. Thought this knife would be good for getting back in the swing of things, I am over the moon to own a piece like this, by Steve Dunn

So glad you like it Drew, and that it will see some use

Good to have you back Drew, it sounds like you've had your hands full. Great-looking knife

Oops! Forgot to post my carry! :D

Arthur Wright Lambsfoot and Charlie's Anniversary Barlow today :) Hope everyone has a good week

And that's how the Friedrich Hartkopf, Solingen, really looks like.
Two blades, clip and pen, a rugged cap lifter (which helped today with removing some sturdy VHB Scotch Tape) and a functional corkscrew make it a versatile companion.

Here is a picture of the laguiole en aubrac I picked up while in France. I will post more pictures in the french traditional thread for anyone interested. The handle material is ebony, the blade is sandvik 12c27.

Still totin' the new 22. Trying to decide if I want to keep the shiny-ness or let it patina and get that natural satin look.

I felt the same way about my Madison Barlow at first but Patina finally won [emoji4]

I probably won't get a chance to do any whittling today, but I'm gonna carry a whittler around anyway, grumble, grumble.
Happy Monday, everyone. :D

Me, when I realized on my way to work this morning that I forgot to drop a knife in my pocket:

That what those 3 backups in your glove-box are there for.

You know, I had one that I kept in the truck, but I took it out to use for something and it ended up back in the house. Guess that's why I should keep more than one in there. :D

 :D Were you not walking lop-sided?! ;)

Only a little, as I usually carry just one knife most days. I know we have some members here who would end up leaning to one side and walking circles in their front yard if they walked out of the house without their daily knives. :D

Go home sick. I know you feel naked & helpless. We have all been there.

Trust me, I thought about it.
