EDIT -- I need to get on board with an image hosting app. Uploading through tapatalk seems to kill photo quality.

Sorry jrawk. I forgot to "reply with quote" in my previous response. Just wanted to say that's a really elegant and simple knife. And no doubt very functional too.

I'm heading over to the south west side of the island today to Uig where my mate keeps a bothy - he needs a hand taking down some old disused telegraph poles and cutting them into strainer posts. Will need flask of tea, chainsaw and vic farmer - it will be wet, grubby and will probably need a beer or two opened at the end of the day :)

I was reading this thinking "I really don't think the Farmer's saw is really up to that" and then you mentioned the chainsaw.

Truth be told I had forgotten I sent you that Paul. I am very pleased to read it is being put to work though.

Maybe a nimble Father Christmas will deliver one if you sign an advance 'no grumble' agreement ;)

I can still grumble up until then right....because Christmas is aaaaages away yet!

Happy Friday to all!

I do not need an ebony #14.....I do not need an ebony #14...........I do not need..........

A subtle loveliness about that knife!

Thanks Gevo and MJ. I had been patiently waiting a for wood handle single clip 15. Bonus that the next run turned out to be Stainless and Chestnut!

This red soup for me today, it sat way to long...

Way too long, Paul. It's a beauty and deserves this one more repost ;)

I see some similarity into what you've been carrying lately Jack....I feel the same way. Pocket domination by the same knives over and over again!! Carry the Davison tomorrow!

Rachel....you're doing well at holding strong!

Very nice r8shell! Hey, you know what would look great with those? Have you thought about an ebony #14? :P

Happy Friday all!

Decided to go unsane for a week or so, starting today, and mix it up a little bit.
The 110 is getting the week off, but the nylon sheath is still on duty. A Rough Rider RR1057 large 'Stroke of Luck' stockman is riding in the sheath.
My Rough Rider RR887 large smooth tobacco bone sunfish has taken the place of the canoe in my right front pocket. The scout/utility in one of the carpenter pockets, is being given a well deserved rest courtesy of a Rough Rider RR 897 Yella handled Marlin Spike.
