What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Alright, twist my arm… :D

An absolutely stunning example of a Farmboy, Barrett!

Wow, Dean, your "carry count" seems to be doubling every couple of weeks lately! You'll easily surpass me by the end of the summer!:D Lovely knives!

I like the phrase and the Thoroughly Cheerful knife, Dean!:thumbup:

Thanks, GT! I'm able to carry a few more when I'm wearing my 7-pocket cargo shorts. I have been so often tempted to get the Alox Vic Classic - if only it had a toothpick!

My very first Beerlow arrived in the mail at the office today in a Trestle Pine Knives box. The Grand Portage still looks a bit odd to me with those big bras bolsters and wharncliffe. But I do love those boxelder covers. Think I'll try to get a little more aquainted.

A very intriguing Barlow. The boxelder covers are gorgeous.

Just starting to really get back into traditionals. I have always had some, but now favoring them more and more.

Carrying these two today. Ulster Boy Scout and a Sodbuster
The Ulster was my uncle's when he was a kid, and I received it when he passed away. He was the one who got me into knives, so it has a lot of meaning to me.

Nice looking Ulster and a life treasure, no doubt.

Raggy and Coco are with me today.

Headed out the door this morning totin' these 2 piano keys.:D

I commented in another thread but I really like this set up .

For me today:

Great pair as per usual:D

I will send you my address, Sam:D:D

Thanks, 5KQs. It is brass. I have a few Utica advertisers from before they closed the factory store, some of which are obviously seconds, but I can't see anything wrong with this one. It also avoids my pet peeve with senators/Eisenhowers/ equal ends, in that it has a long blade and a short blade rather than a longer blade and a shorter blade and a lot of wasted handle.
Still loving my Russell rancher, and working up the nerve to rehandle my Colonial jack.

Those two look great together Ron

I have these pocketed today :)

Thanks Jack. Those 2 are quite nice together as well.

Beautiful knives guys 👍
Thank you:thumbup:

Thanks for the advice, Ron. :) I had the same experience you did with an olive wood Joker; guess I'll keep using mineral oil on wood! :cool:pp

Very nice, Ron ; I'll bet they play a melody you can dance to all day! ;)

A had never carried a Congress but briefly in the past. I tried the Boker with Beer Barrel covers a couple of weeks ago and liked the knife. I then purchased the Primitive Bone Northfield and it arrived today, I really like it:cool:

What a phenomenal photo of a pair of polished, prestigious prizes!!:thumbup:

Last week, I revised my "carry rotation schedule" to incorporate newer knives that hadn't been on the original schedule. (I also experienced mild ridicule from my family for doing so!) Here are some of the knives from Week 1 of the new, expanded schedule.

Tons of fun I'm sure ;)

Made it to work today and realized I forgot the beagle at home. Thankfully I had the beer scout stashed in my purse. Crisis averted.

 Heaven forbid! I dunno what I'd do if I forgot to bring a knife. How y'all keep your carbon steel so nice and clean looking, I'll never understand.

I dig the contrast of the patina and handles. There's a lotta fire in that bone.

Oh man, I have become a congress lovin' fool this year. I have not tried a GEC congress yet but that will all change for me soon. Anyhow, that Northfield of yours is pure class Paul.

This one here just arrived and I can't set it down. It feels so good in the hand.
