What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The Ancient today. Sat with my Dad and Stepmom at the funeral of my Dads best friend. Dads 83 and he knew Ted for over 60yrs!!! Have only seen my Dad cry twice in my life and today was one of them. Ted left quite a legacy though, 9 kids, 18 grandkids and 10 great grandkids. Ted's younger brother is a Catholic Deacon and when he spoke at the end of the funeral he said when Ted met God Saturday that he felt certain he looked at Ted and his life and said "You've done good Ted" we all agreed:)

My condolences to your dad Paul. Your TC was a good choice for today.
I was carrying this 56 Dogleg Jack with me today. It also reminds me of a friend.:)

Punisher252, the blade is 3 1/2", 4 1/8" closed. Don puts a lot of blade in his slipjoints.

Gary thanks :) Don's W2 is everything you've heard

Thank you Ron, my Dad is cut from the cloth of "never let them see you cry" He's cried more than that but I've only seen it twice. He's a hard working tough man and sacrificed a lot for me and my three brothers as in hardly seeing him growing up because he worked all the time to provide for us. At the end of the day it was to rejoice in the life Ted lived;)

What a BEAUTIFUL #56 Ron, made extra special coming from a friend:thumbup:

Paul, my Dad was cut from that same cloth. I sure do miss him! Thanks for the compliment on the 56. It is special to me. It was a gift from Bob, Big Biscuit. It was my first of many experiences with the generous and kind hearted friends here in the Traditional Forum.

Paul, sorry to hear about your dad's friend. It's hard to imagine losing a friend you've known that long.

Spactacular Gary

Very nice JB

Looking good my friend

Thanks Jack, sorry it's not letting me reply to multiple posts. It's 'The Cloud' aka Bosley Cloud a rocky outcrop that straddles the Cheshire/Staffordshire border about 5 miles east of Congleton. Thats Shutlingsloe and Mam Tor in the distance.

Thanks for the info Donn, it's an incredible view
