Quality is quality, no matter the maker. ;) :)

Newly modified Camillus C4 camp knife. The scalloped sheepsfoot just was not working for me. It is now a decidedly unscalloped sheepsfoot.

The Ancient today. Sat with my Dad and Stepmom at the funeral of my Dads best friend. Dads 83 and he knew Ted for over 60yrs!!! Have only seen my Dad cry twice in my life and today was one of them. Ted left quite a legacy though, 9 kids, 18 grandkids and 10 great grandkids. Ted's younger brother is a Catholic Deacon and when he spoke at the end of the funeral he said when Ted met God Saturday that he felt certain he looked at Ted and his life and said "You've done good Ted" we all agreed:)

My thoughts are with you, your Dad and his friend Ted's family, Paul. Imagine having such a large family - that really is a legacy!

My scratted Ancient is also a favorite.

Please excuse my really lousy photo of these really great little knives. Have a great weekend everyone.

Paul, sorry to hear about your dad's friend. It's hard to imagine losing a friend you've known that long.

Thank you BARRETT, my best friend JC and I met when we were 12 yrs old as well, a 42 yr old friendship. We live in the same town and see each other at least every other day. We were best friends first and became step brothers when our folks married:cool:

Sad news my friend :(

Carrying this old Boker today, a very kind present from Paul H, one of my cherished knives :) Also my Abbeydale Jack

Thank you Jack, glad that old Boker is a favorite of yours, that ole Abbydale has some of the best stag ever:thumbup:

Paul my condolences about the loss of such a great man. It is always more impactfull when we see our fathers cry isn't it? My dad is part of the same pack. Have a wonderfull day all.

It struck me kinda hard Drew to see my Dad actually cry.

Thank you Dean, the ancient seemed like a somewhat fitting tribute to a lifelong friendship. I asked my Dad today how old they were when they met and he said they were 12 yrs old!!! A 71 yr old friendship...amazing:thumbup:

Nice bunch of TGIF knives...
usually carry at least two knives, but only one today. Helped with picking some green beans for dinner.
