What a beauty Paul. [emoji106]
The nextdoor neighbour has been helping me out in the garden, to do the job the landlady is paid for!
I don't really like this Trevor Ablett Barlow (that clip :barf, but it's on it's sixth day in a row as my pocket knife, in honour of Yorkshire Day and it's late maker.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Youve got me pegged, Alan; I do like the dark covers. Thanks GT, looks like I'm not the only one partial to ebony (or any dark colored) covers. Beautiful knives guys.
Alan
You know, Gary, I don't have a giraffe bone knife, but I honestly had not thought about my Camel bone Norfolk...luckily it was home as I did run into some camels.
I see you are exploring your Pioneering spirit this week.
Thanks for the Douk Douk advice, FBC. Your Black Box Winchester is a superb stockman! :thumbup:Thanks, GT. I would recommend getting one. I picked up the larger size first and decided it was a little too big for my needs.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Back to the Black Box stockman for today.
Thanks for the comments, Mike; hope your vacation/work transition goes smoothly. :thumbup:Thank you, sirIt's their new CV line with 6.5 Bonestag covers. The shield is a cool shape indeed. Kind of a strange example on mine, as they inletted it a bit off, and had to bend the shield to get it flush with the covers... Still a great addition to my sowbelly collection
I'm enjoying the last weekend of my vacation, and mentally wrapping my head around going back to work on Monday. I hope your vacation is going well, noisy neighbors and allYou picked some good choices to accompany you on your trip.
Congrats on that doctors knife, VS!
I know what you mean my friend! Thanks, nice Pioneer

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm off to Sheffield this morning, to visit Shepherd's Wheel (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1229530-The-Dairy-Maids-of-Porter-Brook-(Part-1) ), and then go to see a play at a theatre I last visited nearly 50 years ago. The production, 'The Stirrings in Sheffield on Saturday Night' takes its name from a very old Sheffield song, and is about a period of history, known as 'The Sheffield Outrages'. It was last performed in Sheffield in the 1970's I think, and I was pleased to see there's a new production.

Dean, that spey-bladed blackwood Barlow is Too Classy!
I received this 66 Bullwinkle in a trade last week and I've been carrying it ever since. I've never been a big fan of the moose pattern but I really love the clip/spear combo with long pulls on a 3.5" frame.

Jack I hope you are doing well pal, not sure if you'll remember but Olivia still has the little pig flashlight you sent many years ago, also I stopped purchaseing knives about 2 years ago, so I could enjoy my accumulated bounty, but I will say every time you show a lambsfoot my pulse quickens, one of these days I'll add a Real Lambsfoot to my collection.
Early morning wild blackberry harvest, I have to compete with all the other critters
