What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Case Humpback Stockman in ebony. One of my favorite knives. It's offset blades and lovely cut swedge make it especially enjoyable to me.

That's a beautiful stockman you've got there, Frank. I'm really glad you shared the top view. Definitely something to be appreciated.

Some lovely knives today
Ryouchijtx: That Reese Teardrop is incredible!!! Possibly the best stag I've seen to date!
Knarfeng: I didn't know Case ever made a knife like that, a truely fine example! Those grinds are very GEC-esque, however I shouldn't be surprised since Case puts out the incredible Bose collaborations.

A hot and rainy day at the cabin. My favorite stockman...

Isn't that Diamond Jim Gary? I got one myself, nice knife  I could have done without the ceramic cowboy boot though! :D

Carrying these two today :) Have a great Sunday everyone

I had all three of these puppies in my pockets walking out to take pictures....Buck 303s

I had never seen a red 303 until you posted these and in another thread. It's a very pleasant shade of red - how did you come by it?

Thanks for the kind words Ken K, Gary, and Greg.

Whew, not only has there been a torrent of impeccable knives here, but some really talented photographers as well.

If I'm not out bush with the ebony Tidioute 53 Stockman riding in the pocket, this has been the standby when around the house and garden since the day I got it: the GEC 15 Huckleberry Crownlifter.

..

Stockmans all around Michael! Love the clip blade shape on the 66 and very nice size comparison with the pepper :D
Aha I must concur, after a day of carry and use I only love this one more so.

Very nice carry Frank, that one has always interested me and stockman knives have certainly grown on me. Reminds me of Enrique Peña's "Eureka Cattle knife" with the distinct hump in the middle.

Very nice couple of days of knives everyone!

Thanks for the kind comments Gary.

Great pair Primble. Nice stag flatbackcapo. Beautiful picture Jolipapa. I like that Wenger Standard Issue scruffuk.

But WOW! Exceptional knife Ryouchiytx!!
....
Have a good one!

Ken K.

Thank you Ken, been away from whatcha totin' for a little bit but your carries are as sensible as ever. I particularly enjoy the Wenger and One-arm carry~

Yep, guess RR calls it a Diamond Jim after some gambler ;) but I was referring to it being a Jack knife multiple blades and yes that boot was as surprise, although mine came missing the bottom diamond, must be QC is lacking, wasn't in the box or bag either so it fell out somewhere down the line, my grandson was quite taken by the boot though ;)

Carrying today as well, I did grind down the kick on the sheepsfoot to lower that down so it's even with the back of the main blade, more comfortable carry and overall look, plus I did change the spey blade into a pen blade, never much cared for the spey blade look.

Grilling today for my family and friends. Have 4 racks of ribs marinating in Sailor Jerry rum for 4 hours, then dry rubbed with my own jerk seasoning, wrapped for an hour then grill with lots of hickory smoke, plus two 3 lb flank steak in two different marinades. These two will be helping out today,

Beretta/Loveless drop point and a trapper from Rick Menefee

Sorry Gary, when you said you were carrying "a Rough Rider Sowbelly with the Diamond jack inlaid", I thought you were referring to the frosted etch. Guess I misunderstood. Sorry to hear about the missing stone, I'd send you mine over, but I already got rid of it. I actually got two, but they were both right feet! That Diamond Jim certainly looks like a slippery customer doesn't he?! :D

Never get tired of seeing that IXL barlow, Jack!

We went blueberry picking again this morning. Had a good rain last night, so left some nice water droplets on everything.
