What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Not really sure if this classifies as a traditional but this Koster WSS at a high altitude Gwillim Lake has become one of my most enjoyed small fixed blade carries over the last few weeks.

Yosemite looks amazing, StoneBeard! The knives aren't too shabby, either. ;)

Got a couple classics on me today.

As usual great knives everyone!

Thanks for the comments on the Baxter Jack and Dean.

Very nice Lambsfoot Jack and a great picture Charlie Mike. I might have to light up a Macando myself tonight.

Today I went with a couple of GEC 25's.

Have a good one!

Chestnut Beer Scout today.

Appealing Beer Scout, Barrett!

Thank you my friend, you are very generous :) I really enjoyed looking at the four knives you showed us today, each very interesting in its own way. I don't think I've ever seen one of those Colonial 'SAK's before
Thanks, Jack. :) I initially thought the Colonial SAK was simply a Forest-Master with red covers and a corkscrew, but there are significant differences between the two models.

...

Carried these two today. A Baxter Ltd. Sheffield and a Vic Electrician.

Have a good one!

The old cross Electrician is always captivating, Ken!

Very observant GT. Actually it's a different one. The first was from GEC that the first owner removed the bail. I wanted it pretty badly so I compromised hoping it would be a great carry, and it is. Right after that the Dog Paw turned up and I decided to bite the bullet and grab it. Of course that means no more knives for a while. At some point it becomes time to sit back and enjoy what one has. Easier said than done, but going to buy a motor scooter this week.

Alan
Thanks for the additional info, Alan. So you're doubly blessed DogPaw-wise, I guess! ;)

...
I seem to be carrying knives for several days lately. I had this TC while I was away Friday/Saturday and decided to carry it along again today. It's been raining off and on all day today and, of course, it started raining while I was setting up this shot.

Looks cool and refreshing, Dean!

...
Thank you, GT!

Another day, another incredible selection of knives.

However do you choose? :D

Except for in the case of the Rough Rider - Small Stockman. That's a no-brainer..... anything less than EVERYDAY is unacceptable. ;)
I just follow the dictates of my "weekly schedule" spreadsheet so that each knife periodically gets its turn to be carried for a week. And so far, I agree with you on the one-of-a-kind RR stockman - every day. :D

Closed it measures 3 3/4" I did the modifying on the sheepsfoot blade to allow it to drop into the frame just a bit more, now it's flush with the back of the main blade, making it a more handier carry ;)

Thanks, Gary. I like the idea of lowering the sheepsfoot blade; looks elegant! (I really dislike the sheepsfoot blades that ride so high that the tip is above the top of the liners! :thumbdn:)

That 2-blade Scout with the beguiling bone is perfect, Paul!

Joseph Rodgers Whittler
Divine old whittler, Ernie!

...
Carrying my IXL Barlow again today, along with an Arthur Wright Lambsfoot in ebony :) Hope everyone has a good week

Homegrown beauties, Jack!

Was feelin' fancy today, so the little Norfolk made its way into my pocket this morning.

A lot to like about that knife, CB!

Too many great knives to comment on and pictures!!! I am going to go back and run through them again.

Carrying my GEC today:D

Still on the bare-headed ebony kick.

Gev and Rachel, it appears that it's "Puttin' on the Ritz" Day in Austin!

Very cool Spanish folder, and it looks like that Opinel could tell some stories!

A few from yesterday in the Yosemite valley.

Today's views are still TBD-
W:eek:W x 3!!!

Back from vacation, so I can get back on my normal carry schedule for the first time in two weeks.
A Holub electrician (thanks, Dave)
