What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Back to back weddings this weekend...
Beer Scout in pocket for both of them.

Wonderful shot of your Beer Scout! Was the lake one of the wedding locations?

I used to hate going to weddings, but I don't mind it so much anymore (assuming libations are provided). We went to my sister-in-law's wedding a couple years ago in Texas. When we arrived a few days before the ceremony, the groom was just getting back to their house with a keg of Shiner Bock for the reception. As I was helping him take it out of his car, he said, "They gave me this big trash can, too. I don't know why." Apparently he had no plan for keeping the keg cold, so I made that my job for the weekend. Kept the keg surrounded in ice for two days, and had a grand ol' time at the reception. (My brother, brother-in-law and I may or may not have brought a long some additional libations, of the stronger, Kentucky variety.) :D

"You call that a patina, kid?" :D

I love a fresh edge on old patina.

Rachel, that old Kabar is really cool! Your #14's looking good, too.

"Miscellaneous knife of the week" is a re-handled 2014 Forum knife (thanks, Mark)

I always enjoy seeing that one, GT. It has such interesting jigged bone covers! (Was the original stag subpar, or did you just want something different?)

I've been carrying this #77 Yankee Jack for the last couple days. Really love this knife, although I haven't carried it enough. Also really looking forward to the upcoming #77 Barlows!

I like the black background on the shield.

Thanks it's actually green but does look black at a glance and in the picture .
I'm digging the red shield on yours it's a nice contrast to the covers 👍

Just got the new Case Mini Trapper with bottle opener. The quality is really good, considering the price. I feel like I really got my money's worth. The walk and talk is really good.

That is some nice looking Cocobolo on your Magnum, Jack. I've enjoyed seeing all the photos of 22s in this thread lately. I hope you make it to the Carnival!

Thank you Dean, I'm afraid I was put off by all the crowds, it was unusually good weather, and it was absolutely heaving. It certainly went on late! :D

Great-looking knives, those Boker Barlows

Nice pairing, I particularly like the look of the FB

"Canoe of the week" honors go to a Schrade-Wostenholm I*XL stag canoe whose serial number is my birthdate (thanks cchu)

Thanks for all the compliments on my recent carries GT :) That is a great-looking Canoe, Stan Shaw put together some of the knives in that range. Well done Cchu

Day Five of the seven day 1 knife challenge

...And it still looks just as good Tim! ;)

I see these A. Wright Barlows w/clip going for not much on the big auction site. Are they well made?

Personally, I'm not a great fan of that Sheffield pattern Clip, and the 'Barlows' sometimes aren't Barlows. Overall though, the knives are good value for money I think. Take a look in the Lambsfoot thread to get a general idea of A.Wright quality

Stunning!

I'm carrying these two today :)

After too little sleep I foolishly walked out with empty pockets this morning so I live vicariously through you all. I have been eyeing the case beer trapper... since I am knifeless today I am glad to see it posted this morning. Good day all.
