What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My most carried knife these days.

I had the chance to buy a smooth white bone from two different folks in the past few months and passed on both and now regret it.

Wonderful knife.

Can't argue with you Josh. Been carrying my Orchard Gem quite a bit as well. Love the coloring on yours.

Thanks, I was checking out your Orchard yesterday on the Farmer thread thinking I need one of those too. That is my favorite color of the ones Charlie did.

Paul Mason Eureka Jack

I just love Paul's work. Another perfect example from an excellent maker.

Gary I love that B/C Lock back Whittler, it looks tough. :) Probably one of the most difficult patterns, the split back whittler to do correctly. When you see a well done Split back the two springs come together to form the main spring for the primary blade. It took a true cutler to make it work and look right doing it.

Thanks for sharing the Bose/Case Gary, I need to check into that one. I have a 1/4 cord of bass wood left with some really nice pieces for carving, that would be a nice addition to my beginning Split back collection, currently at one and in my pocket today. :)

Thanks, Ted! I think you'd like the lock back whittler. Case's Seahorse Whittler is no slouch. Very nice knife!

Thanks Alan, Jerry does fine work. I can see the pic, anyone else?

I don't see it on my Windows lap top or Android Smart phone. I looked at it and I don't see anything wrong with the link. Very strange.

On our way south to a family wedding in Clarion, PA. We'll be back late Sunday. Likely won't be around here much. Don't pick on Frank too much!

This beauty arrived last night from across the pond. Thank you, Jack. It certainly brought a big o' smile to my face!

TCs and Lambsfeet and Whittlers, oh my! Happy Friday and great knives, everyone!

14 and a Peanut today. Exposure is a little rough on this one, but it's been a busy day.

I'm heading out for a hike early in the morning, just getting my kit together now. Think I should be well equipped with these ;) Have a great weekend everyone

Wonderful knife.

The Farmer's Jack is a fantastic user, the 38 pattern in general a top frame but Lyle's Lick Creek in this bone is my favourite. I'd be distraught if I lost mine, the bone and pin-work are superb. Mine is with me each and every day.

Thanks, Will

Keep looking and looking at this composition, it's fantastic. Almost surreal and frightening like a picture painted by Bosch:eek: but beautiful too:thumbup:

Is that bone or wood on the 14, great lustre on it whichever.

Regards, Will
