What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great pic...I'm just as intriqued with your background as well!

This lunker today. I better not fall in the water, I'll go right to the bottom.

I think it's been a few weeks straight now for this one...many jealous knives sleep in the case.

Decent lil pair. My #18 was my first GEC, hard to part with it.

Two days away and so many great knives have been shown!

Business casual for me today at work and the same when Pam took me to Ruth Chris for my birthday dinner this evening. I had this Case Chestnut Bone CV SBJ in my pocket all day. :D

Happy (belated) Birthday, Ron. That Case CV SBJ is a good knife to carry for your birthday. Case really does a good job with the Chestnut bone.

My 25's persistence to be in my pocket seems to be equivalent to this little plant's persistence to grow in this massive rock parking lot.

That's a great photo and a knife, Shawn!

I knife so nice I saw it thrice! Seriously cool pic. That 55 looks like it would be comfortable in the hand.

My most carried knife these days.

Untitled by Josh, on Flickr

I had the chance to buy a smooth white bone from two different folks in the past few months and passed on both and now regret it.

Wonderful knife.

That is indeed a Wonderful knife, Josh!:thumbup: The design, jigging and the shield nicely compliment the unusual blades. I have that one put away to admire and the Orchard Gem pick bone as a user. So great to hold and use! Really good close up you did there!

I'm heading out for a hike early in the morning, just getting my kit together now. Think I should be well equipped with these ;) Have a great weekend everyone

Looks like a good weekend kit, Jack!

Today it's my #15 Huckleberry boys knife. One of my favorites!

Excellent knife and a great photo to display it!

A chestnut jigged bone CV swayback jack and "matching" Sodbuster Jr (thanks, Paul & Bob); love these Case SBJs:

Gorgeous jigging on the SBJ. A great pattern. Good photo and patina, Gary!

So many sway backs posted I have to carry mine today

This must be Swayback Saturday! It looks like you've put that one to use, Shane.

I have these three Barlows along today. The Case was an unexpected gift (thanks, Dee :) ) The Jigged Red TC has somehow claimed my pocket almost every day lately. And the Scratted beauty is a terrific user.

Wow, that was quick, Royal Mail must have invested in a couple of new carrier-pigeons! :D Enjoy it my friend
I am most certainly glad for the new carrier pigeons! It wold be impossible to do anything else other than enjoy this wonderful piece of pocket cutlery. Thanks again, my friend!

All that rain that you speak of really does make for some beautiful country side to use as backgrounds for those great knives of yours.

For some reason it keeps failing when I try to upload an image but I've been carrying my green micarta gec 72 sence I got it.
Check to see if the box that says something about retrieving the image local is checked, uncheck it and pics should upload. I hope this helps.
Yeah, I like the mini canoes, too, FBC! They’re usually about 3 inches closed, give or take a quarter inch or so. So far, I’ve been able to resist going over the edge and purchasing every mini canoe I can find, but I do have several of them. Great pic of your 15 and sheath!

Congrats on the lovely lambsfoot, FBC! That Mr. Black is an amazing ambassador for British cutlery!

That is a great chestnut bone pair, GT. Thanks for the kind words on the 15. Jack is most certainly to blame for my love of the Lamb Foot pattern.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Will, the 14 is Ebony wood.

GT and Combat, those SBJs are just lovely!

That Eureka Jack is fantastic, Jeff!

My baby girl isn't feeling well today and had an unplanned trip to the doctor. Like most days, I'm carrying "her" Peanut, a Bermuda Green Pocket Worn that I bought the day before she was born.

Another day with this Beagle. It is nice when you rediscover a knife that you haven't carried in a while. This was my favorite for about two weeks when it first arrived and then it sat in the drawer unnoticed as other knives caught my attention.

Shawn - I hope your lil one feels better soon buddy.

Happy to oblige, my friend! ;)

You make that one and so many others (including today's carry) look darn good. :)

Thanks, been hoarding cover material for years, glad I have it now (all with preban paperwork). Pile side:
