What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got this Queen Copperhead off of the exchange the other day and really like it I think it's going to stay in my pocket for awhile.

Oil Wood Beagle again today.

Very Nice Rachel. Did you mod that secondary?

Thanks. :)
I didn't modify it, that's the Case 6318PU Medium Stockman with Punch. Awl instead of spey blade. I've grown very attached to this version of the stockman.

Thanks guys! One of my all time favorites for sure. I remember when I bought it years ago I thought about it for a week before I pulled the trigger. Sure glad I did! Love that it has no half stop... just one buttery smooth motion to open.

It sure is a beautiful knife - A great looking piece of pocket cutlery.

My first GEC was a 3 blade workhorse 79. My tastes have evolved to single spring, two bladed knives. Only 8 made, hopefully one day I'll snag one.

I remember the single spring version appearing - it didn't do anything for me at the time but I rather like them now, the bocote version is the one that does it for me :)

Overwhelmed by the quality cutlery everyone is posting!!

Im toting my latest acquisition today :D

Congrats on picking up that sensational TC Barlow, Mr. Party!

Thank you, GT! That is quite a Sheffield group there. The Lambsfoot Senator is exquisite.

Got this RR yesterday. Drawing is by a WW 2 vet on U.S. Naval Air Station letterhead. I think that's a tugboat whistle. Pretty interesting story his picture tells.
Dave, that RR marlin spike looks good!

…Thanks Gary! :) Love that Stag Senator!

Business casual for me today at work and the same when Pam took me to Ruth Chris for my birthday dinner this evening. I had this Case Chestnut Bone CV SBJ in my pocket all day. :D

Thanks, Ron. I’m obviously way late for birthday greetings, so I’ll just wish you a Happy Birth Week! I didn’t realize it when I drew up my rotation schedule, but I’m apparently celebrating with you by carrying an identical SBJ this week!

…
They have mini canoe's too! ;):D Thanks for the explanation, GT. That is a sweet looking Lamb Foot!

I was totin' the 15 today in a new pocket sheath my buddy made for me.

Yeah, I like the mini canoes, too, FBC! They’re usually about 3 inches closed, give or take a quarter inch or so. So far, I’ve been able to resist going over the edge and purchasing every mini canoe I can find, but I do have several of them. Great pic of your 15 and sheath!

Haven't really felt like knife-guy lately, except for my ankermesser I carry daily now

Perfect work knife.
That Ankermesser certainly is an intriguing knife, A.L.!

…
Haven't carried this one for a while :)

Unimpeachable Senator, Jack!

A short time ago I sent Will Power a knife he had been looking for. A GEC 92 spear point in ebony.
This arrived in the mail yesterday from Will.

A spectacular puukko and a terrific GEC 25 along with a hand written postcard and some coins from Finland.

Thanks very, very much Will you are extremely generous. The 25 is in my pocket today. This forum is a great place!!

Have a great day everyone.

Ken K.
Thanks for sharing the story of all that international generosity, Ken!

Impressive jigging, red and green, in that first photo, JSCHENK!! Is the same 38 in both pics?

Been carrying the Winchester for about a week now. It's my first split back whittler, and I'm digging it.

That's a phenomenal pair of knives, Elgin!

…
Back to my little ones today - Stag 26.

Love that toasty stag, Ken!

Got this Queen Copperhead off of the exchange the other day and really like it I think it's going to stay in my pocket for awhile.
Those Queen copperheads are regal knives, guys!!

Yowza! That knife is ravishing!!!

New knife day!

Congrats, Dschal! Those 2-blade Hay'n Helpers are remarkable!

On our way south to a family wedding in Clarion, PA. We'll be back late Sunday. Likely won't be around here much. Don't pick on Frank too much!
Have a safe and enjoyable trip, Gary!

This beauty arrived last night from across the pond. Thank you, Jack. It certainly brought a big o' smile to my face!
Congrats on the lovely lambsfoot, FBC! That Mr. Black is an amazing ambassador for British cutlery!

TCs and Lambsfeet and Whittlers, oh my! Happy Friday and great knives, everyone!

14 and a Peanut today. Exposure is a little rough on this one, but it's been a busy day.

I can't even figure out what I'm looking at, Shawn, but it sure is a fascinating foto!!!

I'm heading out for a hike early in the morning, just getting my kit together now. Think I should be well equipped with these ;) Have a great weekend everyone

That must have been quite a hike, Jack, to require three renowned knives!

Today it's this old caramel-colored Camillus #50...

Compelling Camillus Barlow, Atiger! You seem to have a limitless supply of incredible old Barlows!!!

Great pic of your punch stockman, Rachel!

Prime, pristine Primble pruner, Paul!! Wow!!

I think I've only posted one "installment" so far of the knives I'm totin' this week; too much work, too little time, I guess. Here are more of my pocket contents from this week.

A Rough Rider Christmas canoe (apparently I can't distinguish between Labor Day and Christmas):

A chestnut jigged bone CV swayback jack and "matching" Sodbuster Jr (thanks, Paul & Bob); love these Case SBJs:

Thanks, Gary!

I can't figure out why Case took that Chestnut CV SBJ out of regular production. I assumed it would be one of their most popular offerings, but I always have to remind myself that we porch-dwellers are only a small fraction of their customer base.

Still carrying the punch stockman, plus this little Boker USA rehandled in ebony by Markesharp:
