What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sawcut #77 Barlow in my pocket again today, along with this new keychain for the '76 Checker, made from a 1976 bicentennial Michigan license plate (which is fitting, as the Checker was manufactured in Kalamazoo, MI).

btb01: That keychain is awesome (the knife is pretty great too!). What a cool story.

I guess I forgot to post yesterday so here it is.

I really dig this one, Bob. It makes me smile every time I slip it into my pocket as well as list a little to port. :D

Flatblackcapo: A great picture of a great knife! I have looked at these British spike knives many times and almost pulled the trigger on more than one occasion. How is the fit and finish and walk and talk on these guys?

The leaves here are turning vivid the past few days:

Thanks for the comment on the Kinfolks Jack and nice Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot as well!!

Thanks Ken

cheers Jack, can't beat a tweed cap

:D

That Stan Shaw is just very appealing to me Jack !!!!
It would be a difficult choice to make between that and Abbydale !!!

Thanks Harry, I hope that one day the stag will look as good on the Sheepsfoot as on my Abbeydale :)

Very nice Scott! I'll be waiting for mine so I'll enjoy looking at all the pics for sure.

R Bose WT again today....might try and wear this one out over the next 30 years.

That's a beauty Jake. I really like that the blades on your Reese Bose WT look to be more stout than the typical WT's. I think you might want to push that lifespan out to 70-80 years. It might need a little fluff and buff at that point. ;):D:thumbup:

Humpback Stockman is a top of the heap pattern and I'm carrying the 15 in anticipation of using a tortoise shell I will have tomorrow.

Jake, what I love about the Bose knives is the timeless aspect of their design. And of course their upgraded materials and attention to detail.

Carrying these two while waiting for my HJ. Two C Risner Indian Heads.

Sorry for the crappy quick pics.:p

Sometimes you got to go for the gusto. Like tonight:

Cold Steel (Camillus) 4" stockman in Delrin and Carbon V blade steel.

IMO Camillus had the quintessential clip blade profile. Perfect.

Frank, that reminds me of mine. Just might go to the cupboard and get it out.

Another great day of knives posted:thumbup:

Started out with an awesome gift from Mark (Markesharp) a vintage ebony Pruner by Robeson. Blade has no play/wiggle in any way shape or form, just a SOLID knife, thanks Brother:cool::thumbup:

Then in today's mail, a new release #77 Barlow that Daniel (Tilley Knives) passed along to me at his cost as he kept the Natural Micarta version, many thanks as well Daniel:thumbup:

Looks good on you, Paul! My pleasure, buddy

Love everything about this pic. I learned to drive needing two keys and that 77 is amazing.

For today

My ebony #14 on some walnut detritus left by our industrious neighborhood squirrels.
