What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks for the Soldier comment, Dean. :) I really like that ebony with the endcap! Some folks prefer barehead ebony, but I think the silver endcap makes the knife look more distinguished. (I've got to increase my sharpening skills so I can add to my contentment! ;))

Among the knives I'm totin' this week are these:
By coincidence, I'm carrying a Black Box Winchester somewhat similar to black mamba's; mine is a dogleg/bullet-end/teardrop pattern (thanks, Paul)

Thank you, Gary! Your Winchester Teardrop is a great looking knife (I like that particular knife so much, I bought one)!:thumbup:

From this photo, I can see why this is your Knife of 2016, Jack. What a gorgeous, classic jackknife!

I have this S&M Heritage jack in my pocket on this bright and sunny day.

I don't post in this thread too much because, well, I don't have a large collection, so it's apt to be the same all the time. How many pictures of a Sodbuster Jr. in chestnut bone and CV can you look at?

Kris, I hope you feel better (and warmer) ASAP. I rarely carry a full-size trapper, and I tend to prefer rounded, plain bolsters, but I'm still overwhelmed with appreciation for the artistic embellishment of your wharncliffe trapper!:thumbup::thumbup: Also enjoyed the memory you shared about your daughter and how fast she's growing.

Thanks Gary, trying to feel better today at home. No chance of being warmer as today likely will not be above zero.

These two from Tony Bose are helping me today,

A sky of steel grey
on another dreary day,
but my blade is sharp
and I am content.

Pure poetry, Dean:D

Thin to win, this afternoon, with my little Winchester single spring swell center.

Wonderful swell center , Jeff! I am going to check to make sure its in the swell center thread ;):D Edit: I see it...I guess I was distracted by the Buster. And the thread is now 4 pages back...good lord we are rocking in Traditionals:thumbup:
Thank you! I am quite fond of both of them.

Kris, always a treat to see that magnificence!! Such beauty is a treat to behold!

Thanks, Gev. Not sure why, but Alox always appeals to me.

Styling with that beauty!! I have so many red Vics but someday I will break down and get an Alox just to see what all the love is about

Wright Lambfoot, top, in Horn today.

Just lovely, Will! Looks like a beauty to carry and use!

I'm carrying these two today :)

Always a treat to see Abby and that radio is a real looker to the max!!

Your collection of old knives is a pure pleasure and one I look forward to each day!

I've been carrying this Ebony #14 for the last few days. I go back and forth on the size. I think the #15 really hits the sweet spot when it comes to size, and I like the #77, too, but the #14 disappears in your pocket, and still offers plenty of blade to do just about anything you'd need it to. Can't wait to see what GEC does with this pattern down the road.

Great photo and knife!

Nice knives guys! I've become predictable.

Post it everyday, I don't think you'll get any complaints from us! I have the same knife and I love it.

There is something sinister about this knife. It is partly the dark handles and the it is partly the long curved pattern with the long wharncliff blade. It looks like what I imagine a witch's finger to look like.

This little guy is with me today since I'm wearing my pants with the tiny watch pocket.
