What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My ears were itching last night, now I know why:-) Gev, Kris, and Jack, hope you are all well, my carry is utilitarian these days, I've not purchased a new knife in 2+ years, and I don't really rotate much these days, this is my carry 95% of the time, I rarely switch it up, it seems to cover my daily needs, I guess it's my approach to keeping it simple, peanuts a few away 5 solid years of carry and use.

Yikes: That's fantastic!

Thanks, AShearer, and you too, Erik, for the compliments on my Sodbuster Jr. That's an old picture, though, taken when the knife was obviously pretty new. It's got a little more character now, having had a couple of goes at a patina Scotchbrited off already. It's a very easy-to-carry knife as most porch dwellers know. And I'm not real big on bling, so the simplicity of the Soddie appeals to me greatly. Case does a fine job on its chestnut bone; I've got two others as well (peanut and swayback jack).

Good to see you, Pete! I like the ultralight approach ....looks like you have it all covered with that selection of tools. The juice is a hard to beat tool

The "Any Opinel Love?" thread reminded me that I haven't carried one in a while. So today I've got this No. 6 Carbone in my pocket. I purchased it almost exactly a year ago and it was my first traditional folder save a couple of SAKs that I'd had for years.

Put a nice sharp edge on this old Kent, and now it's a pleasure to carry. It's got a nice shield, half stops, and a long nail nick. Surprisingly high quality.

Nice little knife, picturerock! I like the tip bolsters and the shield. The covers are very attractive also.

The Norfolk is with me today.

Something a little different today. Not a lot different, since it's still a scout. But it's progress.

Just a simple little one today to remind me of whom I received it from, a good friend fallen on bad times.
