What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carried my little 14 at the cabin this weekend:

We got TONS of snow!
I also got this old Mora from a friend in Sweden. I sent him some knives a while back and a couple Moras showed up as a surprise. This one is estimated from the 1950-1960's. It's carbon on carbon laminated and came to him in poor shape. He disassembled it and straightened out all the steel parts and put it back together. I love it!

that Mora is beautiful--they should still make them that way!

Great pics Travman

Good-looking Barlow r8shell, and an interesting knife

I'm really enjoying your pics of this Winchester, looks great

Fantastic pics  That Mora has great character, the old Frost's laminated steel is absolutely superb

EDIT - Thought I'd add a pic of my old Mora, I passed it on to a good friend here a few years back :)

I have these two with me again today :) Hope everyone has a good week

Saw a squirrel today digging for stores. So I decided to get the Acorn shield knife out. :D Glenn converted this 73 to single-blade for me, much better knife than before.

That's a very attractive I*XL, Lance!

Wood boring? Not at all. Actually, it can be quite spontaneous.

Some mighty fine wood on display, TheFactor & Dee & Bob! TheFactor, that Beer Barrel Oak especially appeals to me as it reminds me of the oak floors in my house. Grand grain in your Bocote (?) 25, Dee. Fabulous Fish Barlow, Bob.

...
Thanks for the kind words, Gary! I think he's been hanging around those b̶o̶a̶s̶t̶f̶u̶l̶ confident TC's too long. :p

Cool knives from awesome friends.
You hit the nail right on the head with the bolded words, Dee! (And you're also right to make a distinction between "boastful" and "confident". What's the old saying, "It ain't bragging if you can back it up"? ;))

Thanks for all your kind comments on my carries over the past few days GT, I think those two mammoth posts earned you pizza and beer ;)
...
My IXL Sheepsfoot again today, and my Abbeydale :) Have a great Sunday everyone

Thanks, Jack; I think that just making it through each day should earn me pizza and beer, but I suppose those are unwise wages! :D
Your stag and bone set the tone!

Today I have these two Camillus Cousins in my pocket. The What-A-Knife was in a group of fine EDC's I picked up on the exchange from bralexander. The advertising Pen knife was a surprise gift that was added in the package with the others. Thanks again Bruce! :D

Congrats on the captivating couple of Camillus Cousins, Ron! Isn't there a "metal knives" thread that would be another great place to show off your new knives?

This extremely well made, wharncliffe lockback whittler, is with this morning. The swedges on this knife are a thing of mastery.

What an astounding knife, Kris!:thumbup:

This Simmons Hdwe stag pen has been with me this weekend. Sharp, understated and old.

That tip-bolstered stag Simmons is super-cool, Dean (and would remain so even if you didn't keep it on ice ;))!

That's a classy Barlow, r8shell! (And I enjoyed the accompanying discussion you and Bob had of some of its characteristics! ;))

Whoa, that is a wonderful Winchester whittler, FBC! Bone looks fantastic!

A few pics from the daily dog walk.

Great photos of knife, and clouds, and Doug, Travman!

I'm using the little peanut I won in LegHog's giveaway (or at least one of his give aways)....

Thanks, Gary. Speaking of cool, your Minichamp is no slouch!

Yes, it's a slippie. A very robust slippie.
