Today I had one of my 73 Stag and my Taylors Eye Witness Barlow with Ramshorn covers.
Used the 73 to open up this from CK.

Thank you my friend !!! I really like it and I am not a fan of little knives , but I think I might CF & CE this one all night. Unfortunately for me , I got this for a gift for one of my Granddaughter's boyfriend . He collects traditional straight blades , but he has nothing this nice. This will blow his mind. At least I can say that I owned one for a little while.

Saw a squirrel today digging for stores. So I decided to get the Acorn shield knife out. :D Glenn converted this 73 to single-blade for me, much better knife than before.

Now thats a knife:D

EDIT - Thought I'd add a pic of my old Mora, I passed it on to a good friend here a few years back :)

I have these two with me again today :) Hope everyone has a good week

The Mora looks like a nice one!! Great photographs all

So many great ones posted...I not done yet...just for now

The sheath is really well made and nicely finished, though fairly simple. The belt loop on the sheath has a bit of a cant to it that might allow cross draw. You can see it in the picture. Although the angle would suggest you'd have to wear it loop side out, which would be wierd. So I doubt cross draw was intended.

I've got a few knives with the leather covered kydex sheaths. It makes a pretty nice sheath too.

Maybe he'll make you a leather sheath. It can't hurt to ask!

Thanks much, Gary! I especially appreciate the side shot.

The Dark Side is so slim, it fits in a KSF Pocono pocket sheath with nary a stretch, but I'm looking anew at belt carry for the beautiful beast.

[One of the collateral benefits of my current Fiddleback Bender is that, pushed into the realm of custom sheathmakers, I am finally, finally finding workable ways to carry my fixed blades on my belt(s), not just in my pocketses-- although the custom pocketses options are great, as well! Part of this is breaking the "sheath-knife-on-belt" barrier, something I couldn't have foreseen in my repertoire yay-many-years ago, but it's also the result of seeking out/paying for something other than worthy but "one-size-fits-most" options. A goodly adventure, this.]

Nice looking Mora! I think Morakniv made those not long ago but I didn't see them on their catalog anymore. :/

That one is from the late 80's. They produced them more recently in Sandvik, but that's sad to hear they've been dropped altogether :( While I gifted the one above to Duane Sitflyer, I still have three of their Lapplander knives in Sandvik (one of which is below). It's great steel, but those laminated blades were something else

Thanks for the comments on my lock back whittler from Joel, much appreciated.

This personal carry, that Claudio and Ariel Sobral(CAS) made for me, is with me today. Along with a F. Hartkopf lock back in Markus Balbach damascus and Thuya burl.
