What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wow, Buzz, is it that easy to find those Case scouts, or should you be admired for the depth of your love and dedication? [emoji106]

LOL. While my dedication to the cause is indeed zealous, Case 6445R scouts are actually easy to find on auction. They're hard to find at a cheap price, but they're out there. Just leave the really good deals for me. [emoji6]

It's not hard to guess what I'm carrying today.

Spending the week with my daughter, no day care. I see a lot of sledding this week. These two are with me today, the Puma is a delight to carry and use. Puma even tapered the tang back in 66'.

Thanks for the comments on the Baxter Ltd. knife Will, Jack and Paul.
As requested, here are a few more pictures of it. They're older pictures as it's pouring out today.

Great simple but very useful Opinel! I always have one in the kitchen and in my pack.

I did not know you were a gunstock collector! Two beautiful pieces

Back at work after a wonderful, all-too-rare week end with most of my children young men and women...

Thank you Gevo and Alan
I am not really a Gunstock Collector . I only have these 2 Case and a Tuna Valley . All 3 were gifted to me by my kids . I really like the pattern but I don't know yet how they are as a user . One of my Grail Knives , I have a few , is a Cattaraugus Gunstock , which I think of as the shape that a Gunstock should be. Then I think the Case shape is second to the Catt.

This guy for the last couple days... I love the light streak in the ebony, and the pile side is a perfect match :D
