Elk is so...good looking! Very well done photo, Dee.

Old Barn Chestnut.

This is my first two-bladed #25. I've had several 25's but all have been single blades. This one feels like a tank compared to the single blades.

I don't really know much about this one...I got this Pal in a trade a while back, in a pretty sad state. The main blade had a ton of play, and all three blades looked like they had been sharpened on an 80 grit belt with grind marks 1/3 of the way up from the edges (I really should've taken before pics). It got tossed under the display case until I came across it yesterday, when I noticed it has a punch and got a wild hair ;) I got the main tightened up, sanded out the grinder marks, and started a new pickle relish patina (the only thing in the fridge at work). I also got the punch sharpened up and it's pretty sweet, cuts a nice round hole in a leather belt with little effort :)

Very nice! I love those doghead barlows. One of these days I'm going to have to spring for one...

Thank you. It really does stand out amongst a pile of silver bolsters. If you are interested, now would be the time if you can find them. This was made by Canal Street, who are no longer in business.

Lol! Not that one, but I do have a laser that will burn a hole in your colleagues shoe sole. Sometimes meetings can be fun... ;)

:D

Picked up this little scout for my daughter at a swap meet yesterday. Rule around here is I get to carry it first!

Very nice, she's going to be thrilled with that

Great find Harry, I was just admiring it in the Old Knives thread

Nice rehab Chip:cool: lots of years left in that old PAL:thumbup:

+1

I'm carrying the HJ9 Duncan gifted me again today, along with my Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot

GE Jr Interesting to see the variation in colour on your 76. I didn't know they had an unserialized run too. I'd like to get hold of a Tidioute in bone, but as Ron says, they vanish in an eyeblink...

Clay It is very attractive looking material thanks. The pile side is different too, but these are a really sturdy Jack and GEC ought to be thinking about another run, now

Ron Thank you too. That's a very fine Dogleg Bob gave you, it's another pattern meriting more attention. Even though I am not formally or conventionally religious, it doesn't stop me from thinking about our friend and wishing him all strength in this very trying time for him. Any of us could be in the same boat one day.

Regards, Will

Recent discussions about Buck knives got me to reminiscing about my old 703's. As a result I'm totin' the 703 in the middle today. 1986 two spring model.

I agree. I see one on-line dealer still has them. On mine the f&f isn't quite as good as my GEC Barlows, but it's still a great knife.
