I don't really know much about this one...I got this Pal in a trade a while back, in a pretty sad state. The main blade had a ton of play, and all three blades looked like they had been sharpened on an 80 grit belt with grind marks 1/3 of the way up from the edges (I really should've taken before pics). It got tossed under the display case until I came across it yesterday, when I noticed it has a punch and got a wild hair ;) I got the main tightened up, sanded out the grinder marks, and started a new pickle relish patina (the only thing in the fridge at work). I also got the punch sharpened up and it's pretty sweet, cuts a nice round hole in a leather belt with little effort :)

I asked my friend George Wostenholm to pick out a companion for today's adventure and he replied, "Say no more, I'm on top of it".

As you can see from the photo he's pretty old school and from a time where gentleman were taught to say what you mean, and mean what you say.

I truly admire him for his beliefs, ethics, and overall classiness, but this time he may have took it a bit too literally. :p :)

Ron, that's a very nice forum knife! What year is that from?

John Thanks and Alan sums it up below. The 2014 is a great knife and pattern. It was the PPP for the 77 frame at GEC, one which has provided us with many wonderful knives so far! :D

2014 and IMHO the finest all around knife ever produced by GEC.

:thumbup::D

That's a great example of the 2014 knife, Ron!

Thanks Gary! :)

That's a beauty, I'm such a sucker for a nice whittler ;)

Tonight it's another one I don't know much about, a Seneca I picked up at the pawn shop... also in a sad state. I'll see if I can't make some improvements over the course of the nightshift :)
