Case Bose dogleg and an old Camillus #22 Pony Jack that Dale gifted me a month or so ago, that hasn't left my pocket since I received it.

It was a tough decision whether to carry the dogleg or not, but its just a knife, right? The Bose Dogleg is a beautiful piece, but I'm having mixed feelings about it. I'm going to have to take some time to write up some objective thoughts on it.

I inherited this knife from my grandpa. I don't know much about it, but some google searching suggests it was given to young boys during the coronation of George VI. I have no idea how my grandpa got a hold of it... he was in the US Navy during WWII (and brought back an officer's lugar!).

I occasionally see these pop up on ebay for like $20, so I figure they're not that collectable. I don't really use this, but I had it in my laptop bag today. It's definitely old... and not stainless. I just think it's kind of cool because it's a piece of history.

I also have my grandpa's boyscout knife (not pictured), which is my most cherished old knife.

Just got this one today. I have only used it to open a package of Gummie Bears for my daughter so far.:o

Bumming at home, was out on the deck smoking the old briar pipe...kinda depressing though as I have one bowl full left of a wonderful tobacco I got in Alaska.

I've got the Cayenne bone SBJ in my pocket tonight after a satisfying sharpening session.

Picked it up on eBay for a few bucks. Any help dating and ID'ing it would be appreciated.

Buck 301...my go-to knife for days with dirty jobs (like today)...clearing drainage ditches & culverts after overnight gully washers.

My just received a 25th anniversary Buck 110. The dark ebony and nickle silver look great together.

my chestnut bone peanut in CV is in my pocket today, it just sliced some lemon for a nice tea,..peanuts and lemon tea... a good remedy for the nasty cold i have caught recently.

I'm totin' a GEC Calf Roper.

I think you made the right choice. It's one of my favorite collaboration knives. I'll start carrying mine in the fall when the temperature is a bit cooler and I start wearing a coat.

I got my first oldie today! It took a wicked edge! It is a well put togather knife. It is from the 20's or 30's the seller said. It has great w&t and snaps like a gator!

Blues, I know the Buck is a heckuva knife, but I've always found the job goes faster if I use a shovel. Just a thought . . .

I've been carrying a Moki Rennaissance for my office knive the last few days. It's a real jewel of a knife, but definitely in the Sunday-go-to-meeting category. Usually swap it for a GEC Scout when I get home.
