Stockman so far this year is a Ganzo (thanks, Dave):

That Ganzo was my gateway to traditional folders. I picked it up last year on a lark, more or less, but it fired my interest to learn more in a way my 20-year-old Swiss Army Climber never did. Got my first GEC yesterday, a maroon Beer Scout, with more on the way. But the Ganzo still has a leg up because it has so often proved such a useful tool.

Thanks Dean, you had me digging in the TC thread of Charlie's as I had thought he posted some vintage fixed Barlows? About all I can say is Mark is the originator of the Fish fixed blade Barlow:o

I too enjoy having a punch and using it, great picture:)

Paul, Mark's version is superb, iconic and a knockout. That's one to keep in the rotation!

Thanks, I only have two knives with a punch. I'm more comfortable using the Case Stockman than my forum knife, but they are both super sharp.

LOL! :D Sorry GT :o Not your gibberish my friend, just gibberish in general! :D You should hear me ranting about the Sheffield manufacturers inability to correctly name their patterns (the 'Senator' which is a Lambsfoot rather than a Penknife, or the short-bolstered 'Barlow' for example)! Pattern designations can sometimes be debatable, but the classic old patterns deserve to be properly described here, otherwise newer members will be misled. The Wharncliffe Knife should be one of the most recognisable of traditional knife patterns

Carrying my Arthur Wright Lambsfoot with ebony covers today :) Have a great Friday, and an even better weekend everyone, and please excuse my bitter rantings! ;)

Jack, your words are gold - however presented. Enjoy your knives and weekend!

Frequently carried and so again today:
a flashlight to see,
a magnifier to see better
and a knife to cut.

Jack, your words are gold - however presented. Enjoy your knives and weekend!

Thank you Dean, I'm not sure I deserve all the kindness I get here :) Beautiful Barlow my friend

Nice set up Dean, similar to my daily carry except I substitute a set of cheaters vs the magnifying glass.

Nice knives and pics, everyone!
I've posted this one in a few threads. I have to put it here too, since it is in my pocket today.

Keep going up the shore, it gets better Tom!

After carrying my Yellow Rose #74 for more than a week and switched it up to a neglected knife in my collection. Crosscut mammoth Northwoods Willamette Whittler.

Great knives All!

Thanks for the comment Gary.

I'm please you're still pleased with the 92 Will.

You have inspired me to carry my Fremont today Blinkknives.

it was a Northwoods Fremont and a Vic Apprentice today.
