What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Congrats on the incoming new Lanny's Clip, Tom. Your current one is certainly foxy!

I'm carrying some black knives and some red knives this week, and inspired by Ken K., I'm going to post them together here today.

Thanks GT! The new stable mate is an Ian van Reeenen in carbon fiber, should be here tomorrow. Great pics of the SAKs; I am new to the Tinker believe it or not, purchased a black version about a month ago. I am quickly becoming a HUGE fan, so much utility and so easily pocketed.

Bottle Caps and Bushboots

Great pic, gorgeous FB Gev!

Sticking with the Camillus C4 today.

Beautiful knife Buzz (love the shield)

Haven't carried this Winchester scout in a long time.

Jack , I have enjoyed watching your 66 though the years. Wasnt it your only carry for a year or something ?

Thank you very much John, I certainly used to carry it very frequently :)

Thanks for the first-rate history/geography lesson, Jack!
I think you're fortunate to not mind visiting the dentist. I've considered bringing a bottle of whiskey to the dentist's office, but for me, not him!
As far as being prepared is concerned, I try to follow the advice of my (Rough Rider) Electrician. ;)

You're very kind my friend :) I have to say that with the teeth I've lost in recent years, I'm not much of an advert for my dentist, but then I guess he doesn't need an advert now! :D LOL! 'Open Wide!' :D  Good stuff :)

First-class knife and fascinating photo, Jack! I don't know what time of year you took the pic, but I'm desperately in need of some signs of spring, and that's how I'm going to interpret the bare trees contrast with the green fields. That photo suggests to me that spring is about to burst forth at any time now, just like the buds on the trees will soon explode!:D

Thank you very much GT :) I must confess that it's an old pic, but taken at almost exactly this time of year :) Nice Red 'n' Black :)

Cool pics guys :) Harry, you're a worse hoarder than me! :D

Thanks Dean!

Everyone's carrying my favorites.
First Gary, now you.

Hope you feel better soon, buddy.

Thanks, Dee - appreciate it.

This was one of my first GEC's, and it remains one of my absolute favourites, I really like the #66 frame. Hope you're feeling better Dean, and that everyone else is having a good week

Thanks, Jack. I'm working on it - soup and "resting." (Resting is like being lazy, but you have an excuse.)

That green 66 is the model that first attracted me to the 66 frame; it has gorgeous bone.

Thanks for the tool usage update for the Case Scout, Dean. Thanks also for the RR compliments; I'm an unapologetic fan of the brand. That Schrade Barlow of yours with the "dimpled jigging" is one of my favorites! Hope the cold doesn't last long.

Black cocobolo Simmons Keen Kutter (thanks, Mark)

Thanks for the kind comments and hopes my cold doesn't last two long; mostly my annual cold lasts seven days, but I'm hoping with proper care that this time it will only be one week.

In reference to your Rough Riders, I'm a staunch supporter of everyone carrying and buying what they like. Gary Graley had one of the RR Diamond Jim sowbellys that he liked and he also took some fantastic photos of it.

Speaking of what one likes: you can't go wrong with a Simmons Keen Kutter, and cocobolo to boot.

Today, I'm "totin'" my Case Junior Scout. This was an unexpected buy and is an unanticipated pleasure to carry, CF and use.

Both beautiful Tom

Good to hear my friend :D :)

Thanks :)

I like the look of that pattern, and it's a very good-looking knife

Looking good!!! The Junior Scout really is a nice knife. It's even smaller and lighter than a traditional Cub Scout knife, and genuinely handy.

I have an early start tomorrow. Going to be carrying these two

Great looking knives Jack. The TC is simply stunning

Thanks a lot Tom :)

I've just been looking back in this thread, trying to find my first post in it, was interesting to see what everyone was carrying back then :)

This is my GAW from bloody_pawprint  last January, a cocobolo 73. It gets out and about quite a bit. The patina has shifted since getting it, no doubt due to different habits of its new owner.
