Dean, I like your red Cadet and #13. A worthy duo to carry:thumbup:

My Lick Creek today.

Thanks, Paul. That is a beautiful Farmer's Jack.

I'm enjoying your recent pairs that feature Alox, Dean. Did you remove the keyring attachment from your red Cadet? That #13 sure looks long and lean!
I'll see if I can find something involving "binary" to use for "two". ;)

Thank you, Gary. To answer your question, a few years ago, Victorinox did a special run of the Cadets with no rings. They were in four or five colors and came with a sheath. I had the blue, orange, silver and red; later I sold the blue and orange (not a good idea). My photo below shows the silver. I like them without the ring which is also how the Alox Soldier, Solo, Bantam are made.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend :) I had these two with me for a trip to York today, Mr Smith and Mr Wright.

That's a fine couple of knives, Jack, Mr. Smith in particular.

I have my Congress Whip (nice name for a knife) again today with one of my favorite Cadets in tow.

Gary, that Burt Foster has an owl's face in the burl. Cool.
Greg, if I may ask the size of the Camillus.

I've got my 66 jack and a dusty Case.

Wow Gary, that Burt Foster compliments your Lloyd well, absolutely stunning [emoji106]

Thanks, Jack. Nice carries today! I really want to add a Ray Smith Barlow to my accumulation one day. I've admired his work for awhile now. He's about 80 miles from me. Maybe I could pick it up!

Thank you very much Gary !!
You know I like Stag a lot , but I had a hard time taking my eyes off of the Buckeye Burl on your fixed blade to look at your Lloyd . It's almost hypnotic to me .
Incredible knives and picture my friend .

Harry
Thanks, Harry! Stag is by far my favorite too.
That Foster does have some wild burl.

Thanks for the comment Gary. I'm a fan of small fixed blades and your Foster is spectacular. Weekends and evenings are the only times I get to carry a fixed blade. I usually switch between a JK or a Humphrey. They just feel right for me.

I'm carrying two firsts in one today: first yellow delrin and first Camillus stainless.

That Camillus is a fine knife if it is one of them Made in U.S.A. . Mine is as well made as ANY knife that I have . Blade choices are also very nice IMO .

Jakemex, It was an unexpected find in an antique store in MD while on my last TDY before Retireing from the Army Reserves.

I never found anything that nice in any antique store during my 16 years in MD. Congrats

Thanks Harry. It's USA made and I completely agree. This one's a new arrival, but I've had a carbon steel version in Boy Scout livery for a while and it's one of my favorite knives.

I was surprised to find it as I browsed through the Savage Mills antique mall after a beer at Ram's Head. The stall owner was just putting it in the case. Pure luck.
