... I decided to take out all the BFC Traditional's annual SFO knives from the last 11 years. That's a long time of gettin' a lot of people to agree on a pattern, scales, blades and steel within' a year while leaving enough time to collect the money, make and ship the knif and do it for around $100 give or take. That's a pretty dang impressive feat if you ask me, many thanks to all of you who have been involved over the last 11 years and much respect for the tasks you took on to produce a knife each year.

Here's what I was picking from though.

2007 CSC Canittler in Mammoth
...
Hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane. I'm still working on the History of the BFC Traditional's Forum annual knife. I gotta run but I'll link the thread when I get back.
Impressive and inspiring set, Ted!:thumbup: They all look immaculate, but that Canittler is probably my favorite; I don't think I realized until now that it had mammoth covers!

These for Wednesday : Northfield 77 and Hibbard , Spencer , Bartlett , and Co....
Harry
That wooden pair is a handsome handful, Harry!!
...
Today is an Orchard Gem and an Ancient.
Speaking of handsome, that pair certainly is, Dean! The colors match so well - a bewitching binary set of brown knives!
...
Thanks pal, I like your knives, Practical over Tactical

I've got my birthday carries picked out for an early start tomorrow

...
Thanks, Jack.

Tactical made me giggle when I saw my first example, but I reacted the same way the first time I heard rap music; I thought both were parodies, which shows how out-of-touch with pop culture I am!

Excellent birthday choices: the S^4 (Stan Shaw Stag Sheepsfoot) is superb, and the "birth date" knife is ultracool!
Was inspired to carry this one by Steve Dunn today
Yowza, Drew!!

Whole lotta lovely in that knife!!!
Splendid wood knives, Dee! A hypnotic heap of grain!
...
I've been enjoying some Lambsfoots in my EDC lately - sometimes you gotta go back to the roots...
Always enjoy seeing (and reading about) your lambsfoot knives, Chin!
I admire "The Big Red One", Ron!
...
There's
multitool reasons why I like this week's carries.
...

Here's another. I call it A Dogleg for a Dogwood. The blooms are outstanding and so is the knife.

Great photo, HST! I've never had a micarta-handled knife (oops, I do have a g-10 Colt canoe), but the first one I get should probably be denim!
Gary, I will say that the Cubs' new stadium in Mesa looks really nice, but it's darn near impossible to get tickets this year, and Spring Training games are overpriced to begin with. I am looking forward to the regular season. I'm not a Diamondbacks fan any more than I am a Cubs fan, but the stadium is nice enough, and the Cardinals are playing here on my birthday, so I'm looking forward to that.
I grew up in Arkansas, where we don't have any professional sports teams of our own, but I've been a Cardinals fan all my life. Somewhere I've got some photos from the first game my parents took me to in St. Louis. I was maybe two or three months old.
Now I don't know about the St. Louis Weasels, but there's a minor league team back home called the Arkansas Travelers, and a couple years ago they announced a new mascot called (and I'm not kidding here) Otey the Swamp Possum.

...
Well, I'm a Cubs fan living in Arizona, but i grew up in Geneva (about 35 miles outside Chicago), watching/listening to Harry Carry and Steve Stone. ...
Diamondbacks vs Cubs games in Phoenix are always fun because there's more Cubs fans than DBs fans. Same way at Rockies games at Coors field. Probably the same way in other cities, but I haven't seen the Cubs play outside of IL, AZ, and CO.
As a Cubs fan, the Cardinals were always the sworn enemy (along with the Brewers and the Mets), but I always liked going to the Cubs vs Cardinals games at Wrigley because Ozzie Smith was such an amazing player. Plus he'd do backflips for us.
Thanks for the baseball memories, Barrett and Planterz! Barrett, that Swamp Possum is representative of lots of inexplicable-to-me mascots that sports teams have. Our local Class A West Michigan Whitecaps have Crash the River Rascal, who seems to be some kind of hybrid rodent!??!
These two sexy beasts today. Queen Mountain Man and Scout.
Pair of Queens wins the pot, Buzz!
What am I carrying this week that I haven't posted yet?
Colt buckshot bone teardrop jack:
Rough Rider canoe:
Imperial small sodbuster:
