Blimey! It's less than 24 hours since I posted! What is going on with this thread lately?! ;)

I know what you mean my friend, fixed-blades were my first love, and even though I don't get the chance to carry and use them as much as I once did, I still have loads, and still can't resist occasionally picking up a nice one :) Glad you're loving your Davison

Very nice, I was just looking at those on another site :)

Lovely old Barlow

Spectacular return Drew :)

Smashing Gev

I know what you mean GT  Thanks for the compliment my friend

LOL! :D Yes, I'm old enough to remember when flying, even in standard class, was a luxury experience. LONG time ago :(

Great carries Jack! And yes--love the fixes, but it looks like you have all your knife needs taken care of with those two! The background in the second pic makes we want to stroll small European towns again... it's been too long.

Swapped the 14TC out of the pocket for today to make room for this Michael Morris Friction Folder that I just received. Thanks, mbp!

Nice! I have one of Michael's fixed blades (a large Watchman) made from my father-in-law's old Nicholson file--the knife will be my son's as something that was passed down from his grandfather. Great looking folder--enjoy!

Thank you my friend and two smashers for you today !!

Thanks a lot pal :)

Thank you very much, the background of that pic shows one of the old bridges over the River Foss in York :)

Gev: Well deserved likes for the knives AND the poetry. I tried to write a Haiku once. I got so confused, I fell off my stool!
