Thanks Jeff; Something else for me to look forAlan, these Hornet knives were made in the Olbertz factory (I believe) in Solingen, Germany for Simmons Hardware Co. by Jim Parker in the early '90s. They have carbon steel, probably 1075, and really good fit & finish. Pretty much the same quality as GECs today, and very reasonably priced on the secondary markets . . . when you can find one!
