What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Tom, that is Sheffield's River Rivelin there :) At that point, I was just about to have my lunch, and used the Lambsfoot to cut bread, and spread pate. Then, wiping pate off the blade, I managed to cut my thumb, went quite deep, and wouldn't stop bleeding!

That is a superb combination for Wooden Wednesday :)
And yet, You managed to stop to take a picture. :p Those selfie-taking-millennials have nothing on us! :D

Well that was before I cut myself! :D Fortunately I had my bandana in my pocket and a good supply of Band-Aids. It was actually the middle finger of my right hand that I cut (not my thumb - I'd forgotten already!), and I walked the rest of the trail with the cut elevated, got a few odd looks on the way! :D Since my reason for going over to Sheffield was primarily to photograph the trail, it was really frustrating. I did take a few, but they're not the best, and some were blurred, couldn't take any more of my knives unfortunately. I went back to the Rivelin on Sunday to photograph some of the stuff I missed, but will have to make another trip. I did feel pretty daft. My fingers healed up OK of course, though I'm still missing a couple layers of skin

Nearly lost an arm! :D

Yikes! Sounds like we may have to take Jack's knives away for awhile:D:D Hope your healing up my friend.

So there you were marching down the trail, with your middle finger elevated... I'll bet you got some odd looks, if that means the same thing on your side of the pond as it does around here.
:D

Another nice one Jack. I can tell this is before lunch. There's no evidence of blood on the blade.

Thanks again my friend, sorry for the edit. Indeed, no blood on the blade, and no pate in the blade well! :D

Great color Nate! I like that photo:thumbsup:
Thanks Alan. Both are fantastic knives and I believe two of the best GEC has done to this point.

Beautiful, Ron!

That Cadet in basic black is a peach, Dean. (I have a black Pioneer and a red Cadet; I ought to get each of them color-matched partners - a black Cadet and a red Pioneer or Farmer.)

My Stockman of the Week is a Case chestnut jigged bone CV Sowbelly (thanks, Ron), shown here with the "matching" Sodbuster Jr I always carry (thanks, Bob):

Thank you, Gary! I'm not sure if I like the Pioneers more than the Cadets or vice versa... I like your Case 'twins'.

@5K Qs buddy, it is an amazing place and I really enjoyed it. They opened up there a few years ago as their Eastern HQ and distribution center. They, and many other breweries, moved there for the H2O. The best water I have ever drank.

Great shot, Brett! And the knife is neat, too.

Carrying these two today, another A Wright Lambsfoot and an Albert Oates Pen :)

Very nice, Jack.

Good morning, Porchdwellers.

View attachment 720203 I'm carrying my new (to me) blue SAK. I think it's a Farmer.
And some ebony, because it's Wednesday.

Both great knives, Rachel, but that Farmer glows!

At home with my sheepfoot, TC.
