Great color Nate! I like that photo:thumbsup:

@5K Qs buddy, it is an amazing place and I really enjoyed it. They opened up there a few years ago as their Eastern HQ and distribution center. They, and many other breweries, moved there for the H2O. The best water I have ever drank.

Yes sir 5k qs, that is my German bull sod buster. It was a Christmas gift from my wife a couple years ago. I like it. There are some short comings in the fit and finish department but it looks great and works well. It actually holds an edge about as well as my Buck110. I've used it for all sorts of things, from butchering to carpentry, opening letters, breaking down boxes, and today I used it shaping a board to fit a cart at work, and cutting plastic to seal of doors while we sand sheet rock. It doesn't get pampered but works great.

A Boker single blade peanut in 440C with Grenadil wood covers (AKA African Blackwood) This series was made for Boker's 145th anniversary. This particular one is #107 of the 145 that were made. Sharp little devil. Good looking, too.

Thanks GT, those two look good together :)

Still going with this wonderful, easy to use and sharpen lambsfoot today. Had to boost the photo so you all could see the wonderful carmel color.

Cool pic Kevin, love the trench lighter

I'm playing around with a full stainless steel combo today. The tried and true Camillus C4 saw scout in 440A, and the GEC #74 mustang in 440C and old barn chestnut covers. I pulled the latter out of the archives last night, gave it ten coats of shellac cut with denatured alcohol, and sharpened it up.

Carrying these two today, another A Wright Lambsfoot and an Albert Oates Pen :)

Great pics Jack, curious as to what you were cutting with the Lambsfoot?

Good morning, Porchdwellers.

View attachment 720203 I'm carrying my new (to me) blue SAK. I think it's a Farmer.
And some ebony, because it's Wednesday.

Yep, farmer, love the electric blue.

Still experimenting with my home-made $5 light box, zebrawood and ebony for Wednesday.

Thanks Tom, that is Sheffield's River Rivelin there :) At that point, I was just about to have my lunch, and used the Lambsfoot to cut bread, and spread pate. Then, wiping pate off the blade, I managed to cut my thumb, went quite deep, and wouldn't stop bleeding!

That is a superb combination for Wooden Wednesday :)
