What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice pic. Vermont? Southern Vermont specifically.
It's on the trail, from the north, to Mt. Greylock, the highest mountain in Massachusetts. I went to the summit of Mt. Williams, not all the way to Greylock. I passed a number of AT through hikers on their way north. I'm rehabbing after back surgery in the Spring, and working my way up on local hikes.

It was the sign showing the distance to Mt. Greylock that's tipped me off. I hiked the AT through most of VT when I was much younger.
I like the shot of your knife against the tree trunk.

Thanks Bob. It was a good hike, although I got a bad blister on my toe. I grew up in the White Mountains, so I'd like to hike the Long Trail someday.
Nice view from the Mt. prospect outlook today:

I went to New York City for the Fourth of July, so I've been carrying a SAK that I'd mailed ahead. I don't know how the natives cut their bagels & gravlox with butter knives. :D20170630_114954.jpg

Home, now. I was missing George and Echo. George is in my pocket, Echo is out playing in the yard.

ps. have I been sporting a big ol' photobucket warning in my signature line all week? It doesn't show on my phone, so I couldn't see it until I got home. How embarrassing! (also, confusing. I can't figure how to directly upload one to replace it)

Nice pairing Jack. I am of course partial to the Joker :). For Wooden Wednesday:

Thanks a lot Tom, those two look great together

Carrying these two today, Unity Lambsfoot and a Harrison Fisher Crown Penknife

I am not familiar with what type of knife that is but it sure is a pretty one!

That is one heck of a view. Beautiful!

Northwoods Hawthorne Jack and one of my favorite beers

I approve of your beverage choice, good sir, and the knife isn't too bad either. :D

I have no experience with this pattern but it is a beautiful picture and a very attractive frame. Very nice!

I think it's time to start running this Boker through its paces.

All of your Scout pictures have put me on the hunt for a good Scout myself. In fact I had zeroed in on a beautiful Queen with Buffalo covers, but alas, it was not to be, someone else was able to swipe up a good one. The hunt continues...
Beautiful Boker, though I will certainly miss seeing your Camillus Scouts. A temporary change, I am sure ;)

Old Binghamton Cutlery today

I love the knife, very striking. I am not familiar with the firm though. Looks like I will need to do a little research.

Sure thing and thank you =) Please excuse the pocket dust on it

Ah, a swoon worthy pic, I just love that soup bone, very, very nice.

Some fantastic knives from you all lately and some different stuff for me to look at as well. Carrying this guy with me today.
