This just in, had watched these for a while and thought that maybe the best Stag was gone. I feel I got a good one here:thumbsup:

That's some super stag Paul :)

Carried my Elton Misner Loveless style Semi-Skinner today in the woods. I was happy about the first snowfall!

Very nice indeed Jake

Jack, how often do you think you carry a pair of knives made in the current year?? It's obvious why you do so with knives of this quality!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...

I can still find plenty of hardware stores in my town, Jack, but almost none carry pocket knives!:( That was a stunning shock to me when my knife interest was reawakened several years ago. The rosewood Lambsfoot is more than earning its keep; recent talk of knife of the year got me thinking, and that York Lambsfoot is certainly an early and strong contender for a number of reasons!:thumbsup:

...

I apparently have put some tricks into my scheduled carry for Halloween week. My bailed non-SAK of the Week is a Marbles Workman camp knife that has NO BAIL :rolleyes: (thanks, Mike):

Canoe of the Week is a Schrade Wostenholm I*XL stag model (thanks, cchu):

Euro Knife of the Week is a carbon steel Opinel #7:

LOL! I hadn't thought of that GT! Rarely! :D

There were half a dozen hardware stores in Leeds city centre 15 years ago, and now there isn't a single one left :( Glad to hear that your Lambsfoot is earning its keep :) It will soon be time for that thread won't it? :)

That Workman is an interesting pattern GT, most unusual, and it's always nice to see your Schrade-Wostenholm Canoe

Yikes! This week this thread is reminding me of the situation at work: I'm falling behind in both places, but I've vowed to catch up in each as well!

...

Thanks for acknowledging my knives, Jack, and I'm happy to be an inspiration on occasion! ;):D You're totin' a regular art gallery of expressionism!:thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

A Guardian Lambsfoot has been riding in my backpack for a week:

I know what you mean my friend! :D Thanks for the kind words :) Wonderful to see your Guardians Lambsfoot, I love the way your photo picks out the fine grain of the horn, like the hair of an angel :)

The Ettrick helped with some knife restoration for a friend at work. The long handle and fine point made it perfect for trimming leather washers on the handle.

These two today :)

Very nice combination Ron, I was only just thinking my BF Stag Jack is due a whirl :)

Fantastic pic r8shell, I love the depth in those covers, and the pocket sheath is very special :)

Splendid Paul

Just this one for me today ;)

I have some outdoor work to do in the yard today, so I'll carry this Camillus model 29 trapper (1960-1976), but will most likely use the longer, stronger fixed blade of the Queen City model 82 (shown in a recycled photo with a Queen Steel model 52 trapper that won't be on this venture). The 82 is from 1925-1945, but still holds its own with garden vines and deer hides.

Stunning

Just this one for me today ;)

Nice Jack , just one for me today too:

I took the edge on this Sodbuster to 30 degrees inclusive, then sharpened it using the grey stones only on a Sharpmaker. The result is a toothy, crazy sharp edge I really like.

This has been this sort of a day:D

I love the Winchester stockman Will Power Will Power . It looks very well made and it's purty.
And @oldtimer , another beautiful Winchester, and just small enough for the watch pocket.
You guys have me fightin' the urge to buy more knives than I need. I now have a few good knives and I'm gonna have to stay off the forum if you guys keep posting pictures of knives like those. o_O
Michael

oldtymer oldtymer , your and Will Power Will Power 's posts today made me realize that, though I have several older Winchester rifles, I do not have any older Winchester knives (just a couple recently made ones). They are fine looking knives, much like their older rifles. If they are as well made as the rifles, they are really fine.
