Got both of these (and the flask) as early Christmas presents. The Case is from my brother, not bad for a non-knife guy. The Tree Brand is from my wife, ok I picked it out but its the thought that counts. I am really enjoying the beer barrel wood hanles. I have been wanting a whittler for a while. This my first German made Boker.

Today it's a early 70s Queen Serpentine Jack with imitation Delrin Winter Bottom Bone Scales, this was the first Queen I ever boughtm got it at a yard sale for a couple of bucks, I fell in love with the Pattern and scales so I've been lookin' for more.

Just got this yesterday. GEC #48 Trapper. It didn't come to sharp, but that was an easy fix. The pull is great, not to hard, but sturdy.

Thanks, Ken is at the top of the game when it comes to bone handled knives

I missed this post the other day. This is the knife that caused me to take the secondaries out of my sowbelly; a knife I refer to as the sowbelly experiment. I have to say that the single blade sowbelly makes a wonderful knife. I should drop that suggestion into the 2012 forum knife fray I suppose.

Anyway, I'm carrying that deep canyon bone swayback jack this week, except for Monday when the Texas jack took over the pocket.

This US-made Utica Large Stockman with green bone and 1095 blades.

Nicely made, especially for the price. Came sharper than a Queen, but definitely required sharpening out of the box. A pretty thing, for sure. I'll need to carry this a bit to see how she does.

Hows the W&T Frank? That Utica Sure looks good!

It came Wednesday with a bit of grit in the joints, which is not unusual for a lot of knives. It's working out and starting to feel very smooth.

The main blade is excellent. Spring strength is about a 5 on a scale of 10. Just perfect to me. The spring strengths on the smaller blades are a bit less, maybe a 3.5. Not anemic, though.

I'll need to carry and use it a bit before I know what I really think about it. But, right now I'm pretty happy with it.
