What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

After a sweet reminder from here: my SBjr in hunter green bone
dscf2992.jpg

The 'old' clip and pen, black delrin 2017 Queen workhorse Barlow, just like every other day since I got it six months ago.
I am finding it a bit small for rough work, at 3 1/2 inches. It is a good knife though.

I really like the looks of that old Böker you've been featuring recently, r8shell!:thumbsup:

First snow (if you call heavy wet ice flakes that) in south Louisiana in 9 years. My little girls first time seeing it. She actually cried. ...

Paired it with my little Camillus faux ivory jack. My Mom bought this one for my Dad in the mid-80s when they were on vacation in Boston. Dad in turn handed it down to me a year or so ago. (I could tell he didn’t carry it much, as the blade tips were intact...he was always bad about using his knives as screwdrivers)

In that Orange glowing moment
Time held its breath
In a momentless spell of rapture
As your upturned face
Seemed to answer all my questions
But I still ask myself
Is there really any point
In making plans

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday :) It's cold outside here, and I'm not planning on going anywhere! Got a few chores to do, some good music on the radio, a well-stocked fridge, and an old carbon-steel kitchen knife to clean up and sharpen. These two are keeping me company, my 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot, and an old Croisdale Penknife :)
...
Sounds like a superb Sunday plan, Jack! ;) Choice companions for the day!:thumbsup::cool:

Have these two with me today, as I attempt to complete my Christmas shopping.
Desirable duo, Tom!!:thumbsup::thumbsup: I envy your Christmas shopping schedule!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

A slight change up for today with something old, something new: a Queen City stockman (spear, spey, punch in Rogers bone) from 1922-1932 and a Jarrett Fleming Talus of a more recent vintage.

I think it's me. Whenever I try to post something from my android phone it never works right. I tried something different just now - Can you see it?

Take the photo with the phone. Tap on the pic, edit it.
Open Blade forums, go to “reply”. Select
“Upload a file”, go to your photos, tap the one you want, tap “done”.
The photo should load. When it’s done, select full size. Should work.

Re: editing- mine never works unless I have edited the photo first- I get an error message. Even if I don’t actually make any editing changes, just going through the edit menu on the phone and letting it save the photo seems to work.

I'll give the edit trick a try. Up to now I just get an error message that says the file size is too large for the server when I try to upload the pics directly.
