A while back,

posted a picture of a very fine looking Remington Bullet knife that he had recently received. It caught my eye and caused me to look through the boxes from the trove of knives that my stepfather left to me when he passed away several years ago. Using the Old Crafty that I was carrying yesterday to remove some old twine, I opened a box that I had left shut (not enough time back then) and found a couple. I guess I know what I'll be totin' for a few days.
These knives are not original Remington-made Bullets. Remington's cutlery division was sold to PAL Cutlery in 1940. PAL ceased pocket knife production in 1953. These are authorized reproductions of old Remington Bullet models and were made by Camillus between 1984 and 1990. Today, I carried one of the two R1306 Trackers in the pile (the other was still sealed in plastic). 440C blade, Delrin Staglon scales, made in 1990.
