What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm settling in with some old friends today, both of whom I know can pull their own if called upon. A Case 02 bare head jack (1920-1940) and a slightly younger Case 35 regular jack (1940-1964) in redbone. Still as solid as the day they were born (though the elder is showing some age spots, just like its owner).

Welcome!
Great carry knife for your first post, but I have some bad news. Each successive post must exceed your previous one, so can’t to se the next!
Thank you Amir!
I guess I got too giddy to finally get a GEC, couldn't hold it in any longer ;). I have been carrying my Case stockman for a long time as my beater knife. Now I carry both so in case someone asks to borrow my knife I hand them my Case ha! I finally got the joint flushed out on this one so I'm rockin it today. Has a crazy good snap to it too!

Yikes!
Where’s that double like button?

I'm pushing a couple of gasoline barges to load in Mt Vernon IND. I'm on the lower coming up on the Ohio River at Cairo. It's a 2000hp boat, pretty comfortable and a good crew (eat well too!). Good day ode
That's awesome! Has just a few more horse power than my Toyota  Sounds like a pretty fun job.

43 or so years ago :)confused: I am extremely young for my age:rolleyes:), I paid a chunk of my college expenses by working at Sears hardware. Back then, sonny, Craftsman tools were 100% made in the USofA, and you could choose from a nice selection of Craftsman knives made for Craftsman by Camillus, Schrade and Ulster. The mid sized wood scaled stockman came from my time there. The large ivory colored one is a more recent purchase. These were in my pocket yesterday, and are staying in my pocket today.

The swedging and pulls indicate the same factory made these fine companions.

Pardon me for quoting myself, but I forgot to mention a peculiarity with that big Stockman. The clip main and sheepsfoot are carbon, as evidenced by the patina, but the spey is stainless.

I wonder if that is related to how the spey is sometimes etched with “FOR FLESH ONLY”?
