I’m grateful for your compliments Gary! :) I’m always glad to see your Taramundi. It’s such a beautiful knife!

Today I’m carrying these two 73’s, Orange Osage and Ebony. :D

That's the same problem I've had with peanuts; the combination of left-hand opening and bear-trap spring on the pen has gotten me bitten too many times. I also have brittle nails so that doesn't help.

I too would prefer CV in this pattern, but even in SS I'm enjoying this one more than my "standard" peanut. The pull on both blades are about the same, but the nick being closer to the tip on the spey makes it easier, and its mostly pinchable. Its a winner in my book:thumbsup:

I'd pay an embarrassing amount of money for a trappernut in CV and chestnut bone. I've been on the fence for a regular one. I like that the blades open from the same side. The blue bone one is rather fetching (don't care for the others I see available). I also like that the pulls are on the same side - the pen blade on my CV peanut always wants to bite me.

Wooden Wednesday is another day in my ebony expedition (following the Clauss of yesterday). Today's carrying companion, a Miller Brothers large cigar jack from the 1872-1926 period, has been a bonny blade in the past so more fresh air is due (for both of us).

Nice looking knives and patina Ron...and exceptional photo! I only have one 73 and it's a bear trap(which I don't mind)...wondering, how is the pull on yours?

Beautiful Radio knife Jack!! I'm glad you're not a horse,;) get better soon.

Thanks GT!!! The White Owl did have a bail. I carry it often so I made it a little more suitable to my taste.:) The movie is about a distant cousin. That side of the family is a little rough.;)
BTW great choice of Spanish cutlery!! Both the style and that smooth blonde horn!!:thumbsup:

Today's carry, this 25. The Che Chen wood has some amazing grain!

Finally got a 120 Benchstone and put it to work on the #78 (the scratches are from sandpaper-sharpening before ;) )
Also got(as always) an Enigma Knife in my pocket and threw in the CK Shuffler for good measure :D

- nice knife, nice photo

Let me introduce a recent acquisition - dubbed 'Scarface'

Likely the only Bose I'll ever be able to acquire/afford...:(

Crazy weather in the 'Cuse. My thermometer reads 74F and it's sunny. We will enjoy it while we can. It will be around 37 by 7pm.
Mr. Predictable's carry today.

Peregrin Peregrin ... that Lloyd is just ridiculously sweet!
We got the 40 degree temp drop yesterday too, along with a crazy amount of rain that just keeps on comin'!

A Bose is a Bose, Paul! I'd drop it in my pocket and whistle a happy tune!:D

- indeed, you're spot-on there, Gary :)

Still irks a tiny bit they didn't say one side was effected........am getting there :D

The jigged AG Bone is delightful

Thanks, Matt! It finds its way into my pocket most everyday.

I think the non-disclosure would bother me too.

I pulled this one out to take a pic of it open for brownshoe and decided it needed a sharpening. Right in the pocket on this rainy and cold day. It will need many more sharpening before the previous owners technique will be even remotely remedied. But it deserves some respect and admiration :)

@5K Qs The knives you showed are very nice and that Taramundi takes "nice" to a new level.
Peregrin Peregrin I really like your terrific trio, Gary. I can see why you hold them close.
Chui Chui Beautiful Bose (even beautiful without a maker's name). I understand your dismay at the lack of seller's candor, but Gary is correct - you have a great knife.
Gevonovich Gevonovich It grabbed my respect, Gev, and won't let go.
