Thanks, Gary. I'm staying classy with the CSC forum knife for awhile. It is very pocketable for its size.

Your secretary is really nice in that red Alox.

Two great knives, Jack, but the Ebony Radio Jack is a little closer to perfect. I hope you feel better soon.

CSC Forum knife all this week.

Haven't taken the time to select new knives for today so I am stuck with the two that I carried yesterday. I could do worse, I suppose...

PNENbzi.jpg
You could certainly do worse, Dylan. The question for me is whether it would be possible for you to do better!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yip the porter and pie gave me a thrill to :D Actually it was a mild; "Dark Masquerade" 3.6%.
A great selection of SAKS as always, especially the Secretary. Thats really nice

A Euro knife on some Euro money.

Thanks, donn. :) That Black Cat is money!!:thumbsup::cool:

Our weather broke and now is sunny and unseasonably warm. Found a crocus busting out and placed my day's choice there to contrast the ebony scales: a Clauss Cutlery Co. swell end jack. It's an odd company from Fremont, OH (once cutlery capital of the world with 65 cutlery businesses employing 3,000 workers) that was founded in 1887 and is still around in some form. They made their name and fortune (lost several times) on scissors and shears. As far as I can tell, they quit making pocket knives in 1946.

...Today's carrying companion, a Miller Brothers large cigar jack from the 1872-1926 period, has been a bonny blade in the past so more fresh air is due (for both of us).

Outstanding knives and related info, Stuart!:thumbsup::thumbsup: They both look like real workhorses. Like Gev, I was struck by the main blade on the Clauss having its long pull on the pile side.

These 2 today

Harry
Such striking bone on each knife, Harry!:cool::thumbsup: The checkered bone always grabs my attention! ;)

A bit redundant with my Stag 56, but I'm okay with that:)

This time I got beyond the sensational stag and noticed you had the two-blade model, which I consider another plus! ;):thumbsup:

Carrying this old Voos jack today.

Va-Va-Voos!!! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nothing special today but still pretty fancy...

I finally got around to picking up a Churchill. .

Congrats, FBC! Those ebony Churchills are the pick of the litter IMHO.:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Pair of peaches, Jack! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks my friend, it was your posts (and those of a few others) that encouraged me to get a test for sleep apnoea. I got the CPAP just before Xmas, but I have had a hacking cough for 6 months now, the same last year. I've had X-rays, but I think it relates to my asthma, or maybe an allergy (my doctor is very complacent). The cough is so bad, I have even hurt one of my ribs! If I was a horse, I think I would have been shot by now! :D Always a treat to see your spectacular Taramundi
Thanks for the Taramundi comment, Jack. :) That cough situation sounds terrible!:( Day and night??

5K Qs 5K Qs The TrapperNut is exactly the same as the Peanut, just with a spey in place of the of pen. Its handy having a pinchable blade in such a small knife
Thanks for the info, solphilos! :)

Thanks GT!!! The White Owl did have a bail. I carry it often so I made it a little more suitable to my taste.:) The movie is about a distant cousin. That side of the family is a little rough.;)
BTW great choice of Spanish cutlery!! Both the style and that smooth blonde horn!!:thumbsup:

Today's carry, this 25. The Che Chen wood has some amazing grain!

Great Wednesday choice, James!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Thanks for the info about bail removal, and the surprising family revelations! :D Thanks also for noticing my horn Joker. :)

5K Qs 5K Qs thanks for those great photos! I’d love to visit Europe with my family someday.

The French knife is with me again today:

That's definitely a notable pair, Joshua!:cool::thumbsup: (Especially now that I know more about the knife on the right.) Glad you enjoyed the Toledo pic; my only trip to Europe was exclusively to Spain and was unforgettable!:thumbsup::)

View attachment 853111 Rough work planned for today, so I got the Sodbuster riding along side me. Happy Wednesday everyone!
That's not a run-of-the-mill yeller SB Jr, is it??:cool::thumbsup:

Great choices this week, Gary. Can’t ever go wrong with a 34OT, an iconic American medium stockman.
Thanks for the encouragement, Ratbert. :)

Thanks, Gary. Just 3 a day, unless I get crazy! I like your choices for the week!
3 a day keeps the doctor away, Gary. ;) Thanks.

I’m grateful for your compliments Gary! :) I’m always glad to see your Taramundi. It’s such a beautiful knife!

Today I’m carrying these two 73’s, Orange Osage and Ebony. :D

Thanks for the Taramundi praise, Ron. :) And thanks for the Wednesday "daily double" of "near-twin 73s"; what a notable pair!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Congrats, Steve! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Crazy weather in the 'Cuse. My thermometer reads 74F and it's sunny. We will enjoy it while we can. It will be around 37 by 7pm.
Mr. Predictable's carry today.
jDBok3j.jpg
With that trio, I'd think EVERY day would look like sunny and 74˚, Gary! ;):cool:

Goodness gracious, that is an exemplary knife!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I pulled this one out to take a pic of it open for brownshoe and decided it needed a sharpening. Right in the pocket on this rainy and cold day. It will need many more sharpening before the previous owners technique will be even remotely remedied. But it deserves some respect and admiration :)

Schrade Cut Co.

Both the knife and you definitely have my admiration, Gev!:thumbsup:;)

5K Qs 5K Qs The knives you showed are very nice and that Taramundi takes "nice" to a new level.

Thank you so much for the compliments, GT. I enjoyed your picture of Spain quite a bit.

I have these two with me today. The Appaloosa 56 is getting carried for the first time.

Thanks for your politeness and good manners, Dylan. :) What are your first impressions of the 56?

Thanks, Gary. I'm staying classy with the CSC forum knife for awhile. It is very pocketable for its size.

My secretary appreciates your candor, Dean. ;) Your CSC Forum model is one superlative double-ended knife!!:cool::thumbsup:

That's an enchanting little pen knife, FBC!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congrats, FBC! Those ebony Churchills are the pick of the litter IMHO.:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Many thanks, Gary. Now I know where the expression " Holy Toledo" came from. What a beautiful city!

Again, I couldn't resist.....Plus, it is too new and shiny for my taste. I have to get some patina on this thing.

Thanks pal :) Yeah, though it's not as bad as the cough I had last year :(

I'm celebrating the Guardians thread reaching 222 pages with a 2 Lambsfoot day! ;) :D
