That is awesome, solphilos solphilos ! I've built a few solid/chambered body electrics, but its been over a year since my last one. I'd post a pic, but they all need to be updated to include a traditional...
That knives and guitars thread is floating around here somewhere...
I've been wanting to build a Telecaster for a while now, just one of those projects that end up forever on the back burner. But my interest is now renewed!

Oh, and here's a knife post to keep this relevant :D
I've fallen in love with this #78 more than any knife I've owned in a long time. I thought this would end up a tube-queen but its just too good not to carry. This will be in my pocket for the next few weeks, at least.

Carried the GEC 48 Improved Trapper all week. While I wear blue jeans to work everyday, it is an office environment and the 48 is a bit large to use in front of some of the more timid souls here. So I supplemented it with my little Case Red Etch Peanut. Both were a joy to carry!

My friend, I understand the burden involved in such a task and I can't stand idly by and let you go this patina road alone. Please send to me and I will gladly help shoulder the burden of such a daunting process. Mind you this may take several years;):p
Sounds great my friend, send me your old ancient TC so I can experiment with patina methods and we have a deal:D

Great post Harry !!! Good memories indeed ! Those mammoth clad knives are really sweet.
Thank you very much my friend !!! Memories !!! In 2010 Nancy & I took our entire family to Scotland to celebrate our 50th anniversary and we were sitting on a bench next to the Loch and remembering all of the good times and our kids and grand kids were talking about remembering things about the trip . At that moment , I realized that we were Making Memories for us and them . At my age I have a lot of Memories .

Harry

@ Everyone, thanks for helping me pass the time at work tonight, there’s a lot of great pictures over the last few pages. Power outages due to the Nor’easter have made it quite boring here LOL.
