Still got this little toothpick in my pocket following a previous post. I'm following the weather forecaster's warnings and staying in today so no heavy duty knife work expected, though I have slit open some coal bags with it, so its earning its keep as far as I'm concerned. Stay warm folks.

Yeah looks like it. Good health Jack!
Those are just awsome!I am carrying these 2 today while I sit on our back enclosed porch in the sun going over the first knives that were gifted to me and some of the early ones that I bought .
Carrying these :
21 of these were gifted to me :
Then my eyes went to the little guys and I had to compare the smallest to the largest folder that I have which is a Western which is 5 & 1/8 inch .
Then I had to look again at the 2 little Case Mammoth handled ones that I received in 2007 . I actually carried them yesterday morning to exercise at the YMCA but change out in the afternoon .
A lot of memories in this case . The first knife that I bought and then carried for 40 years .///My first Case knife /// My first Stag handled knife /// My first knives given to me by my Kids . Almost all of these are made of Unobtainium .
I have a number of other knives made by Case , but since I have started buying GEC , many of the Case knives get over looked , but that is where most of the memories are .

I'm taking off today for a weekend of cooking and sipping. Each year, I help some buddies with a charity wild game dinner to raise funds for the processing of donated venison that will go to community food banks through the Hunters for the Hungry program. Starting tomorrow morning, we'll grill venison tenderloins, goose breasts, and wild hog hams; deep-fry frog legs, quail, rabbits, and catfish and perch filets; prepare goose stroganoff, rabbit ragout, and bison chili; and cook a mess of venison kielbasa, onions, and peppers on a flat-top. Oh, and have drink of bourbon or three. Luckily, our hunting cabin is close by, so no driving is involved until Sunday. Last year, we fed a few over 300 diners. I'm carrying some simple knives for opening bottles and clipping cigars over the weekend (we have plenty of actual kitchen cutlery for food prep).

My friend, I understand the burden involved in such a task and I can't stand idly by and let you go this patina road alone. Please send to me and I will gladly help shoulder the burden of such a daunting process. Mind you this may take several yearsCan't seem to get this one to patina
