I love this knife! I think a spear point TC with wood covers is simply perfect. Do you know what sort of wood? Light ebony? Walnut?
Been about a hundred pages since I dropped in herethis one has been in my pocket for some weeks now, these days I tend to fall into carrying a knife for extended periods, and the rest get occasionally fondled and admired, at least the ones within easy reach.

Thanks! It didn't look quite like this when I got it, the middle "dog head" flat part is what was revealed when I sanded down a rather high ridge , as it was a little uncomfortable in the pocket. I think it looks kind of cool now.Really cool stag on that one!

I have an old Scout pattern Case from the 80s in jigged plastic. What a great knife, almost identical to the Victorinox Pioneer
Hi Stuart! Thanks for the compliments.
I'm usually pretty indifferent towards Northwoods knives (I'm in the minority, I know), but I've always liked those Presidentials.
Heading out for a nice dinner tonight to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (which is today) and selling our house in AZ (which closed yesterday). I'm taking my Minnesota Bull Nose with me, as well as this brass zippo that my wife gave me today.

Majestic Presidential, Dean!I'm susceptible to first impressions, and I still kind of think of you (and SadSappySucker) as the guys who carry the incredible Presidentials.
