What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Going with the stallion today. I found this old ship spike metal detecting the beach. Just wanted to show it off, it's YUUUGE.

Decided to work outside again today and carry 2 Wooden ones . 74 and
92. I very rarely carry these but when I do , they are in a slip .

When I was putting them back in the pockets , I found a left over carry from yesterday . I'll keep in the pocket for any cutting duty. Taylor's Eye Witness Lambfoot . A heck of a knife .

[QUOTE="5K Qs, post: 17939174, member: 385663"Thanks for the Pocket Pal pic comment, Dean; I'd like to see your PP show up sometime. :)
Wow, 8-9 miles per day is impressive!!:thumbsup::thumbsup: That's a 2-3 hour commitment, I'd guess. I usually do about 3 miles per day and plan to try to double that when I get more time, but I don't think I could triple it!!

Among the knives I'm carrying this week are a Vic Alox Pruner (thanks, Ken)

Thanks, Gary. Excellent pruner, the alox on that knife just glows.

I am carrying this one today.

@5K Qs The pruners are smart choices for the advent of Spring, but that RR is the QE2 of canoes. Very handsome. I really like your repurposed mitt slip. Cool.

We awoke to to a walloping wintry whiplash from Winter Storm Toby, as did 70 million other shivering souls in the East. We had 2" of wet heavy snow by 11:00 a.m. with another 6-8 hours of snowfall to go. Roads are supposed to freeze over tonight. Despite having a large 4X4 pickup, I ain't going anywhere. So my daily carry selection was pretty easy: a SAK and a No. 8 Opie, though neither should see much work, as I'll be preparing a rabbit ragout while house-bound.

These fixed blades will see much more action today.

As nice as that Case Bose is Paul, it's the sunshine and flowers in the background that catch my eye. We're in the process of getting another foot of snow.

- Thank you, Alan. Yes, today has been the first day of full sunshine for what feels like an eternity...........previously, many days with different hues of Slit-yer-Wrist Gray enveloping our every move..!

Masculine grinds indeed! Nice one!

- indeed, Jason.........did not expect the grinds to be this clear and distinct, must've been a new belt ;)

Nice pic, Paul. Case does a great job on the Bose collaborations. With all the LCs you have, you'd be the expert on the LC grinds!

With me today. A pair from Hiroaki Ohta.

- thanks, Gary. Not sure about the expert, but these grinds do stand out, guess anyone would notice.......even better than the good side of my Reese

Lovely pair you have there, look great together
