Thanks a lot Dean, that's a wonderful Scout :) It HAS aged well hasn't it, love the quality of the shield detail

Thank you, Jack! You are right about the shield. In the right light, I can also faintly see the blade etching (impossible to photograph though).

Dean, your 2-piece stockman is very cool! ;):thumbsup::cool:

My Alox Knife of the Week is a Vic Farmer (thanks, Tom):

Thanks, Gary! Your Farmer is excellent (I appreciate the olive green one you gave me :))

Every time you post that I get knife envy, Travman. :) Gorgeous!:thumbsup:

I carried this Buck Cadet today. I've had it for 18 years and at one time it was my EDC.

I seem to be drawn to older knives recently. An Ulster Knife Co. 4 blade senator (1876-1941) with cute tip bolsters and a Shapleigh Hardware Co. Diamond Edge toothpick (1943-1961). I tried to catch the tang stamps, but the outside lighting wouldn't oblige. At 5", the lithe toothpick fits fine in the pocket.

Lovely, lovely bone Stuart :)

Thank you my friend !! Ron and his beauty are to blame :D:p:thumbsup::thumbsup:

:D

Sweet. Don’t bring that beauty to Augusta National?! I live across the river in SC and was there Wednesday and turned down a Sunday ticket ... my couch affords better views.
I should’ve added that the Sunday crowd roars are one of the coolest things in sports. You can follow the action just by listening to the crowds. Looks like you’ll get good weather and a packed leaderboard. Enjoy!!

Your photographs always put the knives in their best light. As much as I like my 43 Cocobolo, your pictures make that red jigged bone look oh so good!

Dylan, tell your daughter she has great taste. Her knife is beautiful, the color is outstanding and her Dad took a beautiful photo of it.

Your daughter has a lovely knife, a cool new hobby to share with dad, and a wonderful memento from her grandfather! With any luck, she will decide that is the only knife she ever needs...or not...
Hope to see more it in the future.

Both the knife and the photo are very classy. Her idea to add flowers to the pic was a great one!

Thank you, Dylan. I try to show what I see in the knife and, as I've learned, a wart can be a beauty mark (or a tick). More warts to come, I think. But speaking of beauties, your daughter's lovely lady's leg knife looks like red licorice. What a great beginning of her collection. It is so pretty that it embarrasses those lovely flowers in the picture. Please tell he "thank you" for sharing it with us. (Nice pic, Dad.)

The prettiest knife posted, EVER!:thumbsup:

Beautiful pictures of some pretty nice knives as usual for you Dylan . I assume that is your new #43 and you make it look so nice . The real Show Stopper is the Leg Knife . That just caught my eye and I had to show it to my wife . She has a GEC French Kate and I think the Emperial looks as nice as it does .
Thanks for the show my friend . I think you should put those pictures in the Red Alerts thread if you have not yet done so .

Harry

Now that is one gorgeous knife !!!

For your daughter:

Like a comet in my pocket
My own little rocket
Won't you fly me to my constellation
Among those thousand red stars
Somewhere past Saturn and Mars

Thank you very much my friend :) I remain amazed that you can take such wonderful photos on your phone! Fantastic to see your daughter's knife, she's a lucky girl :) Well done granddad :)

Thank you all so much for the compliments and the kind words for my little girl. I read them all to her before seeing her off to school this morning and it absolutely made her day! Gevonovich Gevonovich , the little poem is wonderful and she appreciated it so much, I've promised to write it on a bit of card stock for her to keep with her knife, it is rather special.

Oops! Forgot to post my carry! :D

Unity and Joseph Haywood

Hope everyone has a good Friday. The weekend is almost upon us! ;)

I hope you have a terrific Friday as well, Jack, and an even better weekend. Your two knife choices today are splendid! I always love seeing that Unity but that Haywood kind of stole the show for me today.

Heavy metal, Dylan!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Hey! I resemble that remark! :D Thank you, GT. You have some fine knives about you today!

For Friday I’m Totin a Stag 35 Churchill and my Midnight Special Lambsfoot. :D

I cannot think of a more perfect combo, Ron. Simply fantastic.

I love this picture, Gev. I am not sure what it is that draws me, but it does nonetheless. The knife is a real beauty and the setting just clicks.

Carrying Churchill today as well, along with a solid jack. The bases are covered, methinks. Throwing in a picture of a little bit of spring too, the blossoms on this plum tree are absolutely stunning, my picture does a terrible job of demonstrating its beauty though.
