That’s a looker right there! Love the walnut Rogers bone series!
Thanks for the confirmation, FBC....
Party poopers, I say! haha
The clip on this Moore is a bit unusual but I think that is part of what drew me to it so much.
Good eye on the record spotting, it is indeed. I have been on a bit of a marathon of all the Dead related stuff, without venturing into the space jam stuff.

OK, I'm already ignoring Mom's advice since @donn didn't explicitly address me, but I think of this as a continuation of our dialog over his meat pies series of photos.Been my Anker knife all week.

Thanks, Shawn. Thanks, GT! Great song! One of these days I'll get me one of those blonde Spaniards. I just love your Spanish knife collection!

I'm still looking for the lost "G". Will let you know if I find it. That "T" is odd, isn't it.
Thanks, GT, for you nice comments to all of us. The allure of your alliteration always allows a lot to be appreciated.

Plaudits to you, Jeff, for helping out those folks!Yes it isA good old 3600. We use it for spraying.
I help an older retired couple maintain their tree farm. No longer in the business of selling trees, but the trees and the property still need care. So I do all of the tree pruning and mowing/brush hogging, as well as anything else that needs doing. Right now is the time for greasing the tractors and getting them ready.
Glorious knife, Stuart!I got a little ebony envy after seeing all the postings, including @Planterz 's today. I put this Keen Kutter large (3 5/8") jack in my pocket for the day.

Wow, you DO have high standards, Dean; I've always thought your Presidential was flawless!!...
Thank you for the compliments on my knives, Gary! To answer your question on my Presidential, unfortunately it does not meet my high standards. I really wanted a blackest black one (and in fact requested it be so), but it is not.It is very dark brown in sunlight and appears black in other conditions. My Huckleberry boy's knife in ebony is truly black, though.
I have my I*XL Barlow in pocket today; picture is from awhile back.

Our crocuses held on for several weeks, I think, probably regretting that they emerged so early as the temps waxed and waned dramatically. No daffodils here yet either. About 30 hours of sleet/freezing rain have brought back a real winter wonderland feel.We like the Daffodils a lot . We have lots of them usually by the end of Tax Season , but not yet this year . They are up , but not one bloom yet .
Thanks for the nice picture .

Thanks for the harvest orange thought, Ace. I have two knives with that cover treatment, a humpback stockman (thanks, Mike), and a Tribal Lock I've had for less than two weeks, I think (shown with a couple of other Cases I ordered at the same time):Thanks! I really like the harvest orange. I recently sent Case a note suggesting that they improve their pictures of that color on both their website and pdf catalog, as it just looks like brown mud on those. Their pictures certainly don't reveal any of the yellow highlights or the reddish orange color.
I've decided that if I were to pick a name for the color it would be autumn sassafras leaf or something similar.![]()
Belated birthday greeting, Karl!...
Forgive the not so great picture, but here’s my birthday carry:

That sheepsfoot IS a big difference; I sometimes think of my Vic Electrician as an Alox punch stockman, with bottle opener.I felt a little foolish ordering mine, since the only difference from my three BSAs is the sheepfoot for the can-opener. But it's a big difference, and I love the look and feel of the alox.
Picture is worth a thousand words!Bare head.

Thanks for the springtime photo to give me hope during a winter storm warning on April 15, Mike!
I guess I could console myself with knowing your A/C will be running in a few weeks!

Carrying the Schrade sunshine (thanks r8shell for two of these!) since there’s not much sunshine outdoors today. Well, technically, there is sunshine, but it’s being filtered by sleet.
Love Doc Watson!

Thanks, Josh. This is the only one of the Walnut Rogers series I have, and I am immensely pleased with it.
That’s a looker right there! Love the walnut Rogers bone series!
Accompanying my GEC #43 today is a Case CV sowbelly stockman. It feels very familiar in my hand, having the same relative bulk and weight of a common scout knife. I love how the cant of all 3 blades works with the shape of the handle, to make using the knife always comfortable, no matter which blade you’re using. The design is incredibly well though out and executed. I dig the nice wide sheepsfoot. Case really needs to do justice to this amazing knife, and do a 154CM run.

And also a very nice pattern their Small StockmanGEC could learn something new from it..

Gary, I feel sorry for anyone that ever decides to sit down with you for a game of Scrabble! VICISSITUDES? You certainly keep us on our toes! Nice collection of Case knives you've got there, especially that Humpback!I've fallen hopelessly behind in this thread due to "the vicissitudes of life" recently. When I was a lad, my mom would sometimes advise/command me to "speak only when spoken to" and that's the wisdom I'm going to try to follow to catch up here. Thanks, Mom!

Is it unusual to have an equal-end/cigar pattern in barehead style? I don't remember seeing a lot of single-bolster knives with this basic shape.
Doc was the Best ! I had the pleasure of seeing him in 2006![]()
